Of course, Amelia knew that was the trauma talking. The memory playing with her like a cat torturously toying with a mouse before mercifully putting it out of its misery.
Granted, it was a severe wound, and Flanagan did his bet to patch her as best he could. When she finally could get checked up by a doctor, she was told she healed up completely, there were no physical issues remaining from the injury; nothing left but just a nasty scar. Psychologically, though...
There were some nights Amelia still saw him, looming over her, wiping his knife clean, the way the corners of his mouth slightly twitched upwards into a smirk.

Amelia will only eat the cherry Twizzlers. She does NOT like the strawberry ones. She will politely refuse to eat them.
She hates both real strawberries and artifical strawberry flavor.
