Headcanons on what Dally would be like if, instead of Johnny, a girl idolized him and considered him a big brother figure?

-Dally would treat the girl pretty much exactly the same as Johnny.

-The only differences would be his affection for you would be a little more visible.

-Like of course he’d beat up anyone who picks on Johnny.

-But with you he doesn’t hesitate to push you behind him if he feels you need protection.

-And he always nudges your shoulder affectionately or places a hand on your back for a moment if you’re hanging out with the gang as a way to show he cares.

-He may not realize he’s doing it but he also checks on you.

-‘Have you had lunch yet? Come on I’ll buy you some fries.’

-'Your parents aren’t giving you a hard time right? Cause I told you you to call me and I’ll come pick you up.’

-'Wait here. That guy just cat called you, I’m gonna take care of it.’

-He’s a little surprised at first that a girl would see him as a brother figure.

-Ponyboy had to tell him that he’s an actor.

-You knew that it was a celebrity though but you never cared.

-You honestly weren’t interested at first and the celeb had to beg you for a date.

-He was in town filming a movie.

-You had originally liked Dally but since he never seemed interested you gave the celeb a chance.

-You two became very serious and it was then that you found out that Dally was interested in you.

-It was Darry actually that explained to you that Dallas showed interest in other ways.

-And that’s why you had never realized before but now that you were with someone else Dally was becoming very angry all of the time.

-You tried to ignore this fact because the celeb you were with truly made you happy.

-And while it wasn’t the most important part of the relationship you couldn’t help but feel good at the attention that you got from it.

-Eventually the movie he was filming finished and it was time for him to move back to New York where he really lived.

-And he broke up with you before he went because to him it was always meant to be casual.

-You were so shocked you didn’t even cry at first you just went to find Dally.

-And when you saw him you kissed him immediately.

-Darry tries to talk her down but she doesn’t listen.

-She explains why she’s doing it as she’s still smashing at his car.

-The boys are pretty amused at this.

-But then they hear the sirens coming their way.

-Dallas, Two-Bit, and Steve quickly shove her towards the other boys who start dragging her away.

-And they begin to trash the car so when the cops come they think it’s them.

-She feels really bad that they got in trouble for her so she makes friends with them and tries to do nice stuff for them.

-She probably ends up dating one of the guys to be honest.

Headcannons: The Gang Dating Their Opposites.

a/n: I'm not really officially back to writing/posting for a few days still (just until school calms down) but I remembered that I had this post pretty much finished so I took a break from homework to finish it up and here it is. Enjoy! 💛 -Darry: It's actually really hard for there to be an opposite to Darry because he can be wild and outgoing sometimes and other times he's more stern and reserved but I imagine that she tends to be more on the outgoing side. She is definitely a hard worker like him but she really enjoys things like theater, dance, and art which pushes Darry out of his comfort zone sometimes. But it's definitely good for him. -Sodapop: Sodapop's girl would be very calming which is definitely good for Sodapop. Sodapop is easily excited and distracted but she's very good at keeping him focused and on task. Sodapop is more street smart and she is more book smart so together they're really good because they both are able to help each other with the information that the other might not have. -Ponyboy: Ponyboy is probably the one who benefits the least from dating someone who is the opposite of him to be honest. It's not that they don't get along or aren't a good couple. They're really happy together because she always listens to him talk about the stuff she loves and she cares about it but she's not one for having deep conversations which he needs. She tends to always be looking for trouble. -Two-Bit: Two-Bit definitely benefits the most from dating someone opposite from him because Two-Bit can be very hard to reign in. He is wild, and does know how to be serious he chooses not to due to fear of change and the fact that he's generally just a child at heart. She is extremely quiet and carefully chooses her words unlike Two-Bit who will literally blurt out anything that comes to mind. They're good for each other because of the fact that she is overly serious and can bring out that side of him more. -Dally: Dally- like Two-Bit- benefits from the balance that dating someone opposite to him brings. He would never change himself for a girl, or for anyone really, but her kindness and happier outlook on life will eventually start to affect him for the better. It will take an extremely long time but that's the good thing about her, unlike Dally she won't just give up when things get tough. She'll stick with him because she sees the good underneath it all. -Steve: Steve's girl would be so quiet and not at all talkative but she also absolutely hates messes and getting dirty. It would be a shock to all of the guys that these two even got together but somehow they work really well together and love each other despite their differences. -Johnny: It's hard for Johnny to date a complete opposite to himself because he is equal parts tough and loud as he is quiet and jumpy but I imagine she would have a better home life than him just not as many friends. In that sense it would balance out because he could go to her house and she could hang out with his friends.

Headcannons: Cuddling With Them.

Darry:

-Darry always loves cuddling in his chair.

-Especially right after he gets home from work.

-You’ll just sit in his lap and play with his hair while he reads the paper.

-And you’ll kiss his cheek and neck softly.

Sodapop:

-His favorite time to cuddle with you is in the morning.

-He loves when the sun is just rising and is keeping the room warm.

-He loves to face you and hold your hand while your legs are tangled together under the covers.

-Your faces will be close to each other.

-And you’ll exchange gentle sleepy kisses with each other.

Ponyboy:

-Ponyboy loves to cuddle with you on the couch.

-He likes when you sit with your legs over his lap.

-He likes to run his hands up and down your legs.

-You wrap your warms around his neck.

-And rest your head on his shoulder.

-Usually there’s a blanket covering you two.

-And you you two will have conversations in soft whispering tones to each other.

Two-Bit:

-Two-Bit is a huge cuddler.

-He doesn’t care where or when just as long as he’s holding onto you.

-He can be very clingy.

-He really likes when you lay on your stomach with your head turned to face him.

-And he’ll be propped up on one arm looking down at you.

Dally:

-Dally pretends like he hates cuddling.

-He’ll whine at you to get off of him for the first few minutes.

-But you just like to lay on top of him.

-He’s usually shirtless and you like how warm he is.

-You’ll play with his hair.

-And kiss him on his lips, cheeks, chest, and pretty much anywhere you can reach.

-He’ll eventually stop complaining.

-And he’ll wrap his arms around your waist.

-Sometimes he’ll have one hand running through your hair.

Steve:

-Steve loves cuddling at the drive-in.

-You two will sit in the back of his truck.

-He’ll bring a blanket.

-He loves when you sit between his legs with your back against his chest.

-He’ll wrap his arms around your waist.

-And you’ll rest his hands on his.

-And he’ll kiss your neck.

Johnny:

-Johnny loves to cuddle with you late at night.

-His favorite thing is being the big spoon for you.

-It makes him feel strong and protective of you.

the gang seeing a girl who always sits somewhat near them and draws in a sketchbook and they find out that she was always drawing them and they confront her maybe?

-They didn’t notice her for a while.

-It was Ponyboy that noticed her finally and brought it up.

-And after they all started noticing her more often they finally sent Ponyboy over to talk to her.

-He thought the sketches were really cool and he has her show them.

-She’s really shy and awkward about it but she does.

-A few of them are a bit weirded out by it but they still think it’s cool.

-After that the guys began finding little drawings hanging around in places for them to find.

-And they really began to appreciate it and they always look forward to find the drawings.

-And when they see her drawing them they start posing for her.

-Sometimes seriously and sometimes in funny poses.

-But she’ll laugh at that and always draw them.

-They slowly began talking to her more often and hanging around her more and inviting her over with them.

-She is able to draw them close up now if she can actually get them to sit still long enough.

ponyboy having a friend meet the gang and the friend the kind of person who really keeps to themself and super anxious and tries to avoid confrontations and rarely looks people in the eye, and they get embarrassed a lot

-The gang is there usual loud and rowdy selves.

-This really intimidated Ponyboy’s friend but Ponyboy reassures them that it’s okay.

-A couple of the guys (Two-Bit and Dally) realize that they’re easily embarrassed and try to tease them.

-Ponyboy actually really stands up for them though.

-And after a while they start to feel protective of them too.

-Anyone who gives them a hard time for how anxious they are the guys will fight for them.

-Also they feel really bad when they start a fight in front of this person.

-Most of them will apologize for it.

-And they’re really happy that Ponyboy brought this person in because they really don’t mind them that much.

Hiii! I was wondering if there was anyway you could do a preference/head canon about a night changes sort of date (you know in the 1d video where the dates go to shit😂) with each member of the gang? I thought it would be cute and funny.

-Darry would want to take you out of town for a date so that all of your worries could be far away from the two of you. The car gets a flat though and when you get out to change it the keys are locked inside and you both have to walk until you find a gas station to help.

-Sodapop wanted to make you dinner because he liked to try out new recipes. Girls always seemed to go for his look and he thought cooking for them at home showed them more of his personality. What he didn’t know is that you had a lot of allergies and one of the foods he made for you gave you an allergic reaction and he had to take you to the hospital.

-Ponyboy thought a picnic outside would be cute until it started to rain. You both ran back to his house but they it was locked and you two had to sit outside soaking wet until someone came to let them in.

-Two-Bit wanted to take you roller skating and it all went well until he tried to skate on one foot. He knocked into you and you both gel over. You hit your head hard on the ground and blacked out for a few seconds and he had to take you to the hospital.

-Dally actually tried really hard to impress you. He took you out for milkshakes but a fight broke out while they were there getting them. The cops came and thought Dally was apart of it. They were just about to let him go but he couldn’t help but make a sarcastic comment and they took him in.

-Steve took you out to see a band play and it was going really well until some guy bought the whole bar a round of shots. Steve had a couple of drinks after that and was pretty drunk before the date had even truly begun.

-Johnny was so nervous for the date and he wanted to be ready so he put on a bunch of cologne. You weren’t terribly allergic to it but you were sneezing the whole night and he felt so bad.
