Watching a character handle conflict well and still receive love after it. Or enjoying reading a story where the characters listen to each other's feelings. Or a funny comment on the whole Cleotrapa and Ice Spice debacle where some people made parodies of an Ice spice song with the lines ‘you thought I was feeding you’ and someone else mentioned ‘you ain’t getting a lunch’ and for some reason that made me laugh so hard. Or like the feeling of being invested in characters being together and the satisfaction at things working out. Like there’s a reason we like stories because it gives us closure or a sense of completion that we don’t always receive in life.
