"Seyshi Tales" (Part 1)
I thought I will use this to record the sometimes hilarious and amusing conversations I have with my daughter. I will occasionally post something under the “Seyshi Tales” caption. Here’s the first one.
Taken from my FB profile: this was from April 4, 2014 (so she was about 2 ½ years old)
I was walking past my daughters room and saw her playing doctor with her toys. So I walked up to her and asked, “What do you want to be when you grow up baby?” (expecting the obvious answer, given the current situation) Without a moments hesitation or looking up at me she says, “A Vampire!!” with such determination and in a matter-of-fact way.
I can tell you, that I was not expecting that answer. And to clear the air, she had just watched the cartoon Hotel Transylvania with me a couple of days ago. Which would be why she wanted to be like Mavis and be a Vampire 😊
I mean that’s cool right? We’ve always told her that she could be whatever she wanted to be when she grows up. 20 years from now, our friends will be like, my son is a lawyer, my daughter is a doctor, etc etc. I will be like, “Yeah and my daughter is a Vampire!” 😎
