I hate band kids and I am one.
I spent 7 years in the program trying to like these ego-obsessed abominations, and towards the end of this past school year, I finally decided “hey these people actually aren’t as nice as they seem.”
And no. I don’t hate all band kids. I just hate the popular-clicky ones. I know. Sounds ridiculous. But, at my school, I guess our music program is superior within its region, which means that it is much more highly competitive. Our sports program sucks ass, so therefore we are pride-ful in our music program, causing most band kids to not be your typical misfits. All of them are seen as angels, among their teachers, administrators and peers. And instead of being a good humble person that everyone sees them as, they feed off of their own ego, and treat others like shit. There like: “Oh were so talented, being the best wind ensemble in 6 states” “Oh were so smart, being AP scholars.” “Oh were such good kids, being the kids who don’t do bad stuff.”
like no one gives a single fuck. yet they still talk down to so many people.
If you suck at your instrument: Sorry, You’re not worth my time.
If you’re not in Jazz 1: Sorry, You’re not worth my time.
If you’re not in AP classes: Sorry, You’re not worth my time.
If you don’t live in a rich district: Sorry, You’re not worth my time.
I shit you not, this is how their minds work, even it may be unconscious. Like get that fucking stick out of your ass, and treat us like humans.
They are this annoying ass group that sits in the band hall on chairs against the lockers. Every time you practice after class and into your own lunch time, you have to squeeze past all of them and be all like “sorry. Umm. excuse me. Sorry. need to put my instrument away.” when you really want to say: “BITCH FUCKING MOVE, YOU DON’T OWN THE WHOLE GODDAMN HALL WAY.”
There are plenty more examples where this group/cult is just so damn annoying and rude. And that example is just a mild example of their mob mentality. Even some of them individually, are so annoying I want to beat them senselessly with a sheet pan.
So, if you’re reading this and it sounds slightly familiar, this is what I have to say to you: Okay. You’re very talented and i’m sure you worked very hard for it, BUT, get the fuck off your high horse, and just be nice. people are people. And it doesn’t hurt to be a little more considerate with your surroundings, because I hate to break it to you, But your kind of an asshole.
Things that piss me off.
In no specific order. - My neighbors playing the piano. - People who walk slowly on the sidewalk. - People who stop in the middle of the sidewalk for no reason. Actually, there is never a good reason. Stop doing that shit. - People who are thinner than me. - People who are smarter than me. - People who are both thinner and smarter than me. - People who have their shit together. - People who stand up immediately after the seatbelt sign has been turned off. - Bird chirping. - Laundry. - Bitches who wear too much perfume on airplanes. - People with strollers at airport security. - People trying to carry all the liquids in the universe through airport security. - Noisy people on public transportation. - Accidentally cutting my nails too short.
Texting and then nah
Okay so this isn’t going to offend anybody. I figured id start with something that pisses most people off. I fucking hate it when I’m texting you and we’re in the middle of a conversation and then boom. You’re gone. Just sitting here waiting for a response cause obviously I was taking time out of my busy life(sarcasm but thats not the point) to sit down and have a text convo with you and then you just leave. Can’t you at least say “brb” or something so I don’t have to sit here staring at the screen like fuckin’ derp. And then you come back and act like you never left even though it like 5 hours later. You think I wanna continue talking about this thing that I lost interest in 4 hours ago? Or when I see that you’ve read my text and you don’t respond. Thats fine and everything if I sent something that did not require a response. But If i asked you a fucking question and you read it and you don’t bother answering. Especially if I’m asking you something important. Either way, if it ends in a question mark, that means I would like a response from you. Fucker.

I am most likely going to piss off a lot of people with some of my blog entries I am going to be making but I myself am an extremely honest person and theres a lot of stuff going on in the world right now that just pisses me off an incredible amount so I figured why not start one of these things so that instead of bitching to myself in my head when I hear about certain things, I can bitch in a public space so maybe somebody can hear me. For starters though, I just want to make it clear that I don't hate anybody in this world. Hate is a strong word and I do not hate anybody. I love all. I hold my friends and family very close to my heart and I would never want to hurt anybody with the things I might post in the future. I am not a sexist. I am a guy and I am on the side of gender equality. However, extreme feminists are one thing I am going to post about. I am not a homophobe. I have nothing against homosexuals. I strongly encourage people to do what makes them happy as long as it does not hurt anybody. Gays should have equal rights. They should be allowed to get married. I will never understand why people have problems with that sort of stuff. However, there will be certain things I will touch upon in future posts I make. I am white and I will most likely make a post about racists because thats actually still a thing and its fucking 2016. I will make a post about shitty parents. I will make a post about how sensitive people are now and why they should knock it the fuck off and stop taking things so seriously. Theres probably a lot more stuff that pisses me off but obviously I'd prefer not to fill my head with all of it right now. I'll save it for later ;) Anyways, to whoever reads this, I hope you look forward to my rants about bullshit. 🖖🏻
Just Your Average Pissed of Teenager: A Collection of Social Issues that make me well, angry
In what world is shaming okay? Victim shaming, fat shaming, skinny shaming, shaming of any type. This is one of the biggest problems that plagues our society. we think it's okay to shame someone for their appearance. We point out things that we can't change about ourselves and we make each other feel bad about it. This is the root of insecureity, body shaming and vitcim shaming. Like if the girl that got raped could change the fact that she got raped, she would, 100% of the time. The girl that is a little overweight would change it in an instant if she could make it happen that fast. And skinny shaming? ARE YOU SERIOUS? We shame people for being fat but turn around and tell people they're too skinny. What is this life? We all need to quit judging each other. WE ARE ALL PEOPLE. This concludes the first rant of your average teenager just being pissed in her own little world of anger and rainbows.
