The Think Park / James & Marly
Hyde Park was a place nearly everyone who entered London knew about. It was large and the amount of green in one place made Marlene nauseated at first walking through it. However, since then she’s grown to love the park. It had been the place where she had thought deeply on many issues since she moved away to school.
Yet, as her and James entered the park, she wondered if he would appreciate it as much as she did. Deciding that it was too late to turn back, Marly tucked her arm through his and gave him a sharp tug. “Our destination is just down here.” The pointed down the path they had chosen and she kept close eye on those passing by her. She didn’t know if it was exactly legal to go where they were and she hadn’t gotten in trouble yet but she liked to be safe rather than sorry.
She leaned into him to make him go left off the path into the grass. Letting go of his arm, Marlene tucked under a thick branch of leaves in a bush far taller than her. “This way.” Upon walking through the bush which naturally grew to host a tunnel of sorts, it opened up to the side of a pond. It was secluded and covered by tall trees so no one would notice them. “Tada!” She held her arms up and waved around them. “My thinking spot. Not to be confused with my snogging spot, mind you.”
