Genetic or mechanical upgrades ?
During my project I am discussing different ways to improve the body using technological advancements the two which I am most interested in are genetic enhancements and mechanical upgrades.
At this stage in the project I think that it is important to figure out which one I should take forward within my project.
The work which I have produced thus far has been primarily based on improving the heart and after looking at the history of the heart transplant It has become clear to me that the future of improving the human heart will be largely based on mechanical design methodologies.
With the fact that the future of the heart will be a mechanical one and also the fact that I have always been intrigued by the cyborg and how they fit into society I have decided that I shall focus my project on technological/mechanical upgrades rather than genetic ones.
