john's favorite mints being violet flavored and taka who used to hate it, but after he left he started buying and sucking on them bc it reminded him of john... even sadder if he never developed a taste for them until after he and john got back together, stealing kisses and still tasting the lingering floral notes the violet candies leave behind...

johnny having a similar issue, except it's that kenshi enjoys jasmine tea and johnny at first didnt like the smell or taste, just too flower-y and tea-y for a coffee guy, but kenshi drank it around him so often and johnny would kiss him so often that when kenshi started falling out of the habit of taking a tea break, johnny started making him jasmine tea just so he could kiss him and enjoy it later...
