GRIMM ASK TIME: Okay so Nick/Rosalee/Monroe, because of course. They have a quiet night at home, each needing some quiet, comforting peace after long days. In the living room, 'with' their lovers but not super engaged with each other because they're having self-time. What activity/hobby is each person doing? Who refills mugs with coffee or tea without a word when they notice they're getting cold/empty? Who tucks who in when they doze off on the couch because "they just look so peaceful"???

so Monroe works on his clocks at his desk, of course. Rosalee does inventory for the Spice Shop in her armchair. Nick reads on the couch.

Usually Rosalee refills the tea cups because she's the only one who doesn't get too deep into her work not to notice.

Nick always falls asleep first because his job is very stressful and keeps him very busy. Monroe and Rosalee trade off covering him with blankets.

it's all done with love and care.

coding. he's an MIT brat, he loves computer code. he just doesn't talk about it much because people stereotype him like crazy

18.) Favorite beverage?

anything strawberry flavored. he jokes that his favorite thing is strawberry wine, but it's actually strawberry Fanta

he has a strong belief in family and he loves his family so much

45.) Superstitions or views on the occult?

there was a freak accident where his Mom's back gave out right as he stepped on a crack in the road, so to this day he refuses to step on sidewalk cracks.

Chris Alonso:

fiction and science fiction

18.) Favorite beverage?

apple martinis, but in a shot glass. it's a Chris thing.

31.) Most prized possession?

her swat certification papers, her badge, and a scarf from her mother. from the datemates is a beautifully preserved butterfly in a glass frame

Jim Street:

2.) Do they have any daily rituals?

he has to tell his lovers that he appreciates and loves them at least three times before he leaves the house

24.) Is there one subject of study they excel at? Or do they care about intellectual pursuits at all?

when he applied himself, Street did well I math and history, but otherwise he didn't care about school

48.) How do they express love?

Street is a very physical person! he prefers to show his love rather than tell it. hugs and cuddles are top priority along with kisses

Donovan Rocker:

1.) What does their bedroom look like?

Rocker's personal bedroom is shared with Street 90% of the time because neither of them can stand to sleep on their own. It's the biggest room because all the datemates love Rocker and want to pamper him. he has trinkets and knick-knacks on the shelves. his closet is full of color, his bed is pushed against the wall, and the datemates are always welcome. it's also pale blue and has a bookshelf in one color. wood floors, no carpet. the datemates have a cat and foster kittens, Rocker is never making the same mistake again

39.) What recharges them when they're feeling drained?

Rocker is more introverted than he lets on. If he wants to recharge, he grabs a book or his headphones and runs off to go spend some time alone. he always tells the datemates where he's going and promises to check in. if he doesn't check in every few hours, the datemates go find him.

I THOUGHT OF ANOTHER ONE! May I please request a little writing or headcanons for Monroe and Rosalee distracting Nick after he's had a long, rough day? Different things that they do that help him feel better, or ways they distract him, etc etc etc?? NSFW is very fine, and so is SFW!

there are a few!

1.) make him name off everything in the immediate vicinity until he's tired enough to slow down and sleep

2.) overwhelm him, kissing is the best way to do that (with consent)

3.) tie his hands and make him feel only what's on him (sexual or not)

4.) sparring (when he's angry enough to be unable to speak)

5.) cuddles

Okay apparently the ship name is Monrosanick and that's so cute???? Anyway, can I ask for a little bit of writing for the three of them out on some kind of date?? Something fluffy and cute for at least part of it? I need Monrosanick fluff more than I realized lol. Dealer's choice for the kind of date!!

so my brain is low on content for Grimm, but here's what i've got! sorry it's so short.

Nick takes another pull from the water bottle in front of him and leans closer. They're watching scary movies tonight, each of them in sleep clothes and slippers.

With a hum, Nick slips a hand through both Monroe and Rosalee's and sighs, contentedly. He's so glad they decided to stay in.

It's worth the unavoidable nightmares to be able to stay closer to them.

Grimmmmmcoooommminnngggg (to the tune of "incommminnngg" from Right Hand Man): I need some Rosalee love. Headcanons for Rosalee of any kind would be much appreciated, and if you have any specifically around things she does to comfort herself or others, her favorite dates/things to do with her loves, or the things she loves about Monroe and Nick, I would love them

I have so many headcanons. sadly, my brain produces very few. 

1.) Rosalee wears a pink robe that was given to her by her mother after being woken up in the night

2.) she has a handpainted mug that Nick made her. it’s green with vines on it i believe

3.) when attempting to self-soothe, she sometimes sings but usually it’s cleaning

4.) she loves movie dates with Monroe and reading dates with Nick, but her favorite dates are the ones where they head out into the woods late at night and star gaze. on occassion, they stay out all night under blankets

5.) with Nick, she loves his eyes and his mind. the man is very smart, the second Nick nervously spouted off random fox facts on their first date, Rosalee was madly in love

with Monroe, she loves his strength and determination. she saw Monroe lift an entire box full of herbs and other heavy materials above his head and she was done for.

6.) Rosalee is very kind, but will not hesitate to kick someone’s ass for her family (which has been proven in canon)

Aaaand Erika: 7, 22, 39, 42, and, because I might have the beginnings of an *Idea*, 50.

7.) Favorite way to waste time and feelings surrounding wasting time?

Erika curls up with a good books and spends hours reading. when she's on work, she hates wasting time but outside of work, she likes to be a bit lazy

22.) Given a blank piece of paper, a pencil, and nothing to do, what would happen?

Erika hates paperwork with a passion, but she likes poetry, so she writes down a poem on either side and gives it to one of the datemates

39.) What recharges them when they’re feeling drained?

she snags Bonnie and cuddles on the couch with tea if she can, otherwise she takes everything out on a punching bag with a True Crime podcast playing in the background

42.) Hobbies?

reading mostly, but she also does crosswords and puzzles

50.) Is this person afraid of dying? Why or why not?

Erika isn't afraid of dying. she isn't sure why, she has 5 people that she loves to live for and so, so many friends. but she knows she'd take a bullet for them without hesitation. maybe it has something to do with the fact that she stares down death every day?

Also will you write a paragraph or however much about a random idea for any Egos character/scenario that comes to mind when I give you the random words: Clouds, Grass, Stop Sign. I love to see you write about Egos and how excited you are about them!

you have no idea how flattering it is that my friends, who have no context to who the Egos are, are sending me Egos asks.

Clouds:

JJ sitting on a hill, watching the clouds roll by. he's grieving, but I'm not sure for what.

Anti comes to sit with him, also grieving. they watch the clouds roll by together.

Grass:

Damien and William play fighting in the gardens when they where little. They end up with Damien on his back with Will above him, straddling his stomach. they both giggle. child's love, so sweet and innocent.

Stop Sign:

Mad frantically looking both ways across an empty street, standing at a stop sign. he's worried, doesn't know which way to go.

he can't find Mare, which is scaring him more than he'd ever say. he has to keep looking.
