One thing I found in the JP version of Last Specter

So I watched a video of the JP version of Last Specter, since I wanted to see how the dialogues are different from the ENG version

And what I found was the difference in Jakes' line, when Luke said Jakes killed Evan Barde and Jakes denying that

As you know, the ENG version line was "No...No! I just changed the will!"

But the JP version had another line between "No" and "I just changed the will"

And that was "Well, it would have been okay if I killed him-(確かに、オレが殺してもよかったんだが、)"

Well...that's quite messed up. I know how Evan Barde didn't have a good reputation among people, but saying that it would have been okay if he killed him? Yeah...that's not good

I suppose Nintendo international was like "My goodness, we can't put that line in a rated E game"

Edit: Wait, LS was rated E10+? I thought it was rated E

Alfendi: Only the most obvious villain in the history of villains. 

Jakes: What’s the s’posed to mean?

Alfendi: You don’t look like the typical pretty-boy villain, I’ll give you that. But when you introduced yourself to my father you walked over to him with the creepiest smile. And if that wasn’t enough, you threw your hands up and broke out into evil laughter the minute he left the room -

Jakes: You have no proof!

Alfendi: - Was it meant to be funny? Was it meant to portray you as such a corrupt, idiotic character who was nothing more than a pawn in the true villain’s plan? 

Desmond: *Echoes* I WAS NEVER THE TRUE VILLAIN!

Alfendi: Whatever, Uncle Desmond! ...Where was I? Oh, yeah! What was your deal, Jakes? At least the other villains have some sympathy or likability or mystery surrounding them. You’re just a bully who captured an innocent manatee and an eleven year old girl. 

Jakes: I kept the spectre under wraps! That’s pretty cunning, right?

Alfendi: Uh, no. That was all Descole’s doing. You were just a tool who feigned ignorance when Descole’s plan got revealed. 

Jakes: I... I might have some hidden depths. I have a son... He looks up to me!

Alfendi: You have about as much hidden depths as Vernon Dursley. Do you ever mention your son? My father never even saw the two of you interact! You can’t expect anyone to care about you if you don’t display some human emotion apart from EVIL CORRUPT GREEDY. 

Jakes: ... 

Alfendi: I’m not going to forget our meeting in ten minus seconds. Bye, Jakes.
