The professor settles. He’ll take what he can get, and he’ll feel sick about it. It’s incredibly unfair for the Tritons to act as they always have, unaware of Hershel’s turmoil. They deserve to know that he’s enjoying their closeness more than a friend should, so they can carve some distance back between them. Clark and Brenda would surely be uncomfortable with his feelings.

How inane is it for Hershel to wish he were wearing a ring like theirs? For him to wish that he could be a third in their dynamic in a true manner?

I'm starting to think Mackintosh is feeling a little left out on my Island. He tried to organise a group stretching, but everyone started exercising without him.

I mean he is a single man surrounded by couples. That can't be easy.

Anyway, time to add a new couple to the island.
