Introduction
For over the course of the three known instances of existence, the Three Realities have been shaped into a large and complex universe. With a mysterious past and a history filled with war, magic, and constant change, it is home to mortals, beasts, and immortal magical beings locked in an eternal dance of conflict. There are always those with dark intentions and those who will oppose them; even if they do so unwillingly.
This is a rich world of magic, myths made real, and chaos.
The known realities began with the spark of the Awareness that rose up from the dead remains of an unknown era. It spread forth through the Void to claim a territory of its own and bring a new reality to life. From the Awareness came cosmic beings who then seeded the unknown with more creation. From the Awareness came all.
The First Reality is a wild and untamed realm. Formed from the chaotic and raw potential birthed into existence by the Waters of Reality, the main island of Cadacor is a lush paradise within the infant universe. Wild magic weaves through the island with surges of power shaping it and creating new islands. The first seeds of life came forth as the Creators and the Celestials who in turn created the Stars and the Original Races. This is an era of wonder and beginnings of new adventure as those who step into life must learn how to exist in the new world.
The Second Reality is one devoid of magic and wonder. With the death of the First Reality, magic had been lost to the Void. Many species and civilizations had been lost with the survivors saved solely by the Creators’ power. Those that remained faded into the shadows as one race began to dominate all. Humans rose to power and with them came technology that killed belief. Once dominate civilizations vanished and their remnants hid in worlds outside humanity’s reach. Humans thrived in their sciences. Their civilization grew unchallenged until a sudden eruption changed the course of history.
The Third Reality is on of harmony that rose from the ashes of the war between magic and technology. The realm reorganized itself into rings of existence with each level belonging to a different form of life. No longer did one civilization dominate and no longer did anyone hide within the shadows. New legends arise among great wars waged between the many nations. Gods play among the mortals. Great beasts claim the wilds. New inventions bring forth advancements in magic infused technology. The world has evolved into a new era of stability.
These are the realities that are known, but beyond the protection of the Awareness lies the vast unknown and the Void does not sit empty.
