What helps me is: clean ONE thing. Clear off one desk or one shelf or whatever. Then you're up & doing and you can choose whether to keep going or lay back down & feel accomplished that you at least did one thing. It really helps

thank you! jksdhg I did manage to do the dishes and replace the water in my degreasing buckets so that helped a lot

just bummed i didn’t clean as much as i wanted since my dad and stepmom are coming into town thursday :/ but i suppose i can tidy up some more thursday before they get here

Because even a habitual bandwagon jumper like me sometimes has to look at something everyone's talking about, recognize that it's probably as great as everyone says, understand that I would probably like it a lot, and say "nah".
