Villain / Hero || accepting.
“Oh, certainly!”
And there’s little pause or hesitation to his response. (Perhaps none, whatsoever.)
“Do you believe me? No? I could not blame you for that.” He teases him with a smile, purposefully, anticipating either an indignant tirade or flustered protests. “But it is the truth.”
Does he truly harbour such trust? Does he trust Creighton? HE TRUSTS NO ONE. And that’s the only harsh truth behind myriad silky lies. Yet There’s experimental value to this remark, a bet on how this cheap token should garner an interesting reaction.
“What can I say? Despite any jabs and disagreements between us, I do believe your are quite strong and reliable,” and lonely enough to dread any loss.
I just discovered the credits by complete fucking accident
