She left the bathroom and opened the door to their shared room. “Fakir? I can’t-”
She turned around, showing him her back, and he didn’t say a word, but suddenly he was touching her. It took every fiber of her being to not jump out of her skin and run away.
It was just like the garter toss.
Yes, he would touch her skin, and see more of her than anyone else ever had, but it was a necessity, this even more so than the toss.
Still, she waited with baited breath for the moment he would go back on his word and ran his hands along her spine, or reach around and pull her towards him.
She had been taught this lesson growing up.
Men had needs, men needed their needs fulfilled, and sometimes when those needs weren’t met, they could get rather impulsive.
But then, he had stopped, and the dress was loose enough that she could get it off, and he had turned away without a word.
Ok so, let me explain a little bit :)
@alotmoreginger made me beautiful cover art for This Arrangement, which was a modern day arranged marriage in which Ahiru was supposed to marry Mytho, but after he fell into a coma, had to marry a different man instead.
I personally think it’s one of my most well written fanfics. Alotmoreginger and I started talking more and more about it and decided to flesh it out. We are co-writing it and it is currently at 11.5 chapters. I am pretty positive that we are in agreement about posting it publicly 😊
It follows the, um, first section pretty closely, but the story is a lot more complex and has changed :)
