Two New Mieville Novels 2016
This Census Taker (2016) by China Mieville:

The Last Days Of New Paris (2016) by China Mieville:

According to Tor.com’s review of China Miéville’s new collection Three Moments of an Explosion (out today!), “Miéville has two novels (This Census-Taker and The Last Days of New Paris) releasing in 2016. So there.” Huzzah!
Okay, so This Census-Taker sounds somewhat iffy: it’s only novella-length (aww) and previous comparisons to Lovecraft and Philip K. Dick have been replaced with the uninspiring blurb “For readers of George Saunders, Kelly Link, David Mitchell, and Karen Russell,” (meh), but The Last Days of New Paris sounds promising:

You had me at “surrealist bomb” and “weaponized dream logic.”
After that long drought following Railsea, we get three books in two years from Miéville. Let’s hope there are many more to follow.
