Guess what convention has a transformers panel

So here’s what happened at SWCA:

16+ hours on a cold, hard stone floor in line for the Thursday morning panel. JJ Abrams made us all pizza with his own two hands in his own oven (okay, not really, but he and Kathleen did buy everyone pizza and holy crap was I grateful for it by midnight)

Getting noticed by Dave Filoni at the Untold TCW panel for m Asajj hair and getting called up to the stage because people in the back wanted to see it. Not only that, but he gave me one of the Dark Disciple posters before the end of the panel (a day before they were at the Del Rey booth). AND I GOT MENTIONED ON STARWARS.COM!!!

Getting to interview Christie Golden about Dark Disciple for Legendarium. The first thing she said to me before she even knew who I was was “I love your hair!” I said “yeah I’m cosplaying Asajj tomorrow!” (Same thing I said to Filoni at the panel). The interview will be online by tomorrow.

Getting recognized by random people as “that girl that called on stage by Filoni” all weekend, and getting a photo with a Filoni cosplayer xD Also getting complimented by editor Shelley Shapiro because the hair she imagined for Asajj “works better in real life than in the art” 8D

Wearing my Asajj ballgown cosplay that was the result of so many tears and curses xD Filoni saw it (sorta) and thought I’d made it in a day because apparently no one told him that the concept art for DD went online last year xD Also getting over my self-consciousness rather quick because I’ve never worn anything so revealing, especially when my gut is concerned (and I didn’t flash anyone so that was a huge relief). I’m gonna fix it up a lot more for the TFA premiere though.

At the untold TCW panel, some animatics were shown including  chase scene between Asajj and her target..before Quinlan butted in. He made the mistake of saying “I go this, honey”, followed by the gloriousness of her punching him out for it <3

THE REBELS AND TFA TRAILERS!!! I missed the Rebels premiere (I was in another panel), but that trailer though!!!

Trying out the new Force Trainer II toy due out later this year. I think I’m secretly a Jedi Master since I flew through the first two trials no problem :3

I saw a booth that had some of the most INCREDIBLE, AMAZING shoes! Absolutely no photos were allowed since they’re not even announced by Disney yet, but holy shit I want them all! One pair in particular had lightsabers for heels...THEY LIT UP! THEY LIT THE FUCK UP!!! GET ON MY FUCKING FEET RIGHT NOW!!!!!

I met a lovely couple who actually got married Friday morning at the Rancho Obi-Wan booth. it was a beautiful ceremony and I wish them only the best <3

I got to meet both master-obiwan and armedandglamorous in person! You guys are the best and I miss you already! <3 <3

On Saturday, I had an incident with someone who gave off a kinda odd vibe, so I basically ran away and found comfort with a Sith!Elsa cosplayer. So many little girls came up to her wanting pictures and it was adorable.

The overall family feeling of the con. it was huge, it was crowded, but aside from that one incident I had, I felt so at ease and at home with everyone.

I thought I was spoiled by DragonCon for other cons years ago, but this one tops it. I’m starting to save for Celebration Europe next year and I hope the feeling is just as great as this one <3

//came back from a con where I got to hung out with a bunch of old Whovian/Torchwood friends and I met a pretty awesome bunch of Whovians/Torchwood(ians) for the first time from right here on this blog! You guys are awesome! Now if you’ll excuse me, I got another con to prep for in T minus 2 days. Whomever thought putting 2 cons back-to-back weekend was a good idea need to go to the arctic and cool off!

Met John Barrowman up close again :D and watched his panel with a room full of... what, 1000 people? Yeah. Ngl his panel was the highlight of my con and I’m not just saying that ‘cause he’s my favorite person. Great entertainer!
