I just had chilli at my place with my dad, dad’s partner and brother! It was really nice but we had a bizarre furious argument halfway through because my brother mentioned his ex-roommate who was constantly in trouble with the police and had several girlfriends who he was ‘somewhere on the scale abusive toward’, including an 18 year old who was still in school when he met her. :x I said it was gross for a fully grown 32 year old man to be dating an 18 year old, and for some reason this proved an Incredibly Contentious Statement and suddenly I had to argue with all of them about it? Like, I’m 33 now, anyone still in their teens is OFF. LIMITS. This is normal, right? Anyway it kind of soured the evening. Also I’ve had red and white wine so I’m p. buzzzzed. Maybe I’ll. watch the Lego movie or something.
