Is this your first time experiencing Fruits Baskets?

Yep! I’m going in as blind as I can, which in this case is totally blind.  Never really heard of it beyond what Kat would sometimes say and I would sometimes listen, and according to her she spoke about it a lot and so far I still know nothing beyond what I’ve put here so far!  So that’s saying something about me I guess haha.  Hopefully you can enjoy the ride with us!

Cataleya ducks out of the bar, nudging past a lone couple lingering at the door. She feels… Pretty okay, honestly. It’d been a long day at work but the handful of drinks she’d tossed back had her feeling loose. The tension in her shoulders and between her brows were gone, replaced by a more relaxed sort of demeanour. The more she drinks the easier her smile comes - something some people familiar with her find a little unsettling. 

She roots around in her pocket as she stands against the brick-side of the building - she finds a rather crumpled pack of cigarettes. She’s been trying to quit for what feels like forever, but she still can’t quite get there. She’s never been good at resisting temptation or controlling her impulses.

A little, frustrated noise parts her lips as her lighter refuses to spark - cheap piece of shit. She shoots a glance around, eyes falling on a passerby - she can’t tell if they’re just some late-night wanderer or a bar patron.

“Hey. Can I bum a light?”
