Why is I Will Knock You trying to convince us Noey isn't already in love with Thi?

Because, like,...how is he not already in love?! The facts are stacking on top of more facts:

Noey brought two drinks expecting Thi to stay. Then, he wouldn't let Thi out of tutoring him telling Thi he was taking his mom's money.

When Thi said he'd give the money back, Noey made him tell his mother hoping his mother would push back. The mom didn't, but instead of taking Thi home, Noey took him to hang out with his gang.

Noey tried to teach Thi how to fight, so Thi could protect himself, and gave Thi a challenge: win and Noey would be his student. Thi already didn't want to tutor him, so he could've lost this challenge easily, but Noey told Thi to hit him first, which he did, assuring that Thi would win.

Thi tried to avoid Noey, but Noey made sure that Thi not only tutored him by stalking Thi out, but also made sure Thi ate. He threatened to feed Thi, and promised to continue feeding Thi until Thi loved his food.

He keeps asking Thi to teach him the most arbitrary things (Pam and circles) so Thi will never truly get a lesson taught. Basically, Noey just wants to spend time with Thi.

AND THIS ENTIRE SCENE!

Noey is testing out pet names for Thi every episode.

Noey faked the door being locked just to stay on the roof with Thi.

Noey is in love with Thi!

He has to be! The math is mathing, and it equals love, your honor.
