Mandated Rules for this blog

This is mainly my Art blog, where I post Art I have drawn. I have only 5 rules I abide by:

DO NOT repost my artwork. If you would like to share my art to another social media platform, like Twitter or Facebook, I'm all for it, But no reposting my art onto a different post altogether. If anyone has seen this happen, please let me know. I would be very appreciated if you informed me. To add to this, anyone who does this will be reported for misattribution. That is not a threat, that is a promise. 😠

Along with reposting my artwork, DO NOT use my art for AI generators. That is a huge no on my end and if you recognize my art in any AI art creations, please let me know immediately.

Please don't spam like my Art. I have had this happen a few times and while I appreciate that people notice my art, it clutters my notes box. It would help me more if People would reblog my art, rather then spam like it.

I don't draw requests; I had a bad experience doing one for someone in the past, so I would like to not relive the stress that came with it.

I don't do personal DMs on any social media platform. DMs are considered sacred for close friends only. Plus, I've had scam attempts through DMs. If you want to message me about commissions, please contact me through my Artistree (Link is down below).

Anyone who violates the first two rules, it will result in an immediate block; If necessary, further action will also be taken. As for rule 4, if people harass me on this, that will also result in a block, as I don't have time for drama. Rule-5 breakers will be ignored (as in I won't answer their messages).

Art is important y’all!!

I’ve always known, but it just hit me like a truck how important art is.

All types of art; painting, music, writing, sculpting etc etc

Someone else’s writing inspired me to make music

My music inspired my sister to pick up an instrument and learn how to play my song, and I was so touched I wanted to make more music

Music makes me happy, and a happy me can make more music and makes me take care of myself more which leads to me studying better, which leads to me getting a job in a field I can help people face to face.

But music leading to me helping people is not why art is important.

Art is important for many, maaany other reasons too, for example:

   . it can help someone get their mind off of other things in their life

   . it can help people remember things they have forgotten

   . in my field of work (elderly people with dementia) art can help calm people,         art they recognize from their youth can make them feel safer in situations             that are hard

   . it can inspire people to create, take care of themselves, to live

I could go on and on and on

Those who say that art is not important, that being an artist of any sort is not a “real job”, you are very much mistaken

Art is essential.

I had enough of how writers are treated sometimes! To all my writers out there, this is for you (could also apply for Artist) (Please pass this on!):

It’s your fanfic, your story!! You write it the way you want to write it!! NO READER SHOULD EVER DEMAND YOU TO WRITE IT A CERTAIN WAY!! Not unless they are helping you pitch ideas, but even then, they have no right to demand ANYTHING from you!!!!

You update when you want!

YOU STINKIN UPDATE WHEN YOU GOSH DANG WANT TO!!

Take your time!! Don’t stress over getting it out! If you’re stressing at all, take a break!!!!! Write little by little! No reader should make you feel like you have to rush!! If they do, ignore them, and update when you want! Write when you want! And what you want!!

Take some time to yourself! Self care is important!!!!!!!!!!! It’s okay to not update! It’s okay to update late!! It’s okay to take time to yourself!!!!!!!!! YOU COME FIRST!!!!!

Readers should be patient!!!!!!

READERS SHOULD AT LEAST LEAVE A LIKE ON A FIC!!! A STAR, WHATEVER IT IS, LEAVE A TINY BIT OF ENCOURAGEMENT! A TINY BIT CAN SEND A WRITER FURTHER THEN YOU THINK!!! You don’t have to comment! Comments are fantastic! But a like is just as good!!

A writer is making all this for you! A writer is working hard for you!! A writer even stresses for you readers!! You could AT LEAST be patient!!!!!!!

Readers, if you want a fic written a certain way, WRITE IT YOURSELF! I’m sorry, but that’s literally the only way it’ll come out the way you want! Cuz no writer can read your mind, not even when you send a request!!! If you send a request, be specific, cuz if not, we’ll just write with that sentence, or request, the way we feel fits!!! So don’t go all whiny over it when they write it the way you didn’t want it to be written!! They can’t read your mind!! NOR SHOULD THEY HAVE TO!!!

Writers! You’re doing amazing!!!!! Keep being you! Keep writing when you want! Keep taking care of yourself! Keep doing what you love! Don’t let anyone!! ANYONE!! Tell you what to do!!! You do YOU!❤️❤️❤️

i lost my previous post about it but like... ronnie’s fucking Smart, and turns into something of a polyglot after high school. she takes french throughout hs and becomes pretty much fluent by the time she’s in college through her own studies, BUT! the full list ends up being: 

fluent: english, french, german (either taught to her by jason or learned through trauma paranoia).  semi-fluent (can speak and read, but can’t write very well): arabic, greek, dutch.  rudimentary (can communicate well enough-ish): italian, spanish, portuguese.  only useful for work: latin, ancient greek, linear b.
