Also for Wreck, I'll roleplay him pretty selectively. I have a lot of personal headcanons for him that I'll prob build on later.

So while most will headcanon Nice to be the one pushing Wreck away in a romantic relationship with each other (since we see Nice not contacting him back later), I thought I’d play him a little differently. I got the idea when the anime showed the flashback and he said “We were best friends.” And while obviously it's most likely censorship, I thought, what if there was something to that?

So basically, I headcanon that Wreck was just as obsessed with being a hero and moving up the ranks. Of course, most of that was because he wanted to do it with Nice. He couldn’t imagine doing it without him. But I headcanon that Nice was the one who first hesitated when he saw the other was scripted to be a villain instead of a hero like him, but Wreck insisted it was fine. That most heroes start off somewhere and move up, and it’ll likely be the same for him eventually.

My other big headcanon is they both had a “will they, won’t they” and maybe slept with each other a few times. But one day at the height of Nice’s popularity, when they went to a private outing together, someone caught Nice holding hands with him and some rumors circulated online. The hero insists that they should just be a lot more careful next time but out of worry for Nice’s status as a hero (and a lot of self-anxiety, self-doubt), Wreck starts to pull back romantically.

Eventually they settle for being friends but Nice once in a while gives him signs in hopes they can go back to before. Wreck himself pines after Nice but thinks it’s better this way. When Nice eventually stops contacting him and later, he finds out about Nice’s death, he feels the weight of losing someone dear to him and guilt over his fear and insistence of not pursuing a relationship.
