can I request some hcs for a ftm/transmasc reader or s/i with Ben Reilly (uhhhh idk could be t4t or t4c I’ve just been getting dragged angle first into this fandom lol)
but yeah totally okay if not
Ofc! It’s totally chill!
Ben Reilly dating a trans man would include:
• Ben loves to trace the scarring on your chest when you two are cuddling. Even kisses and praises each different scar. “So handsome” Ben would compliment as he’s planting kisses on your scarring
• Would inform people to leave you alone if someone is being nasty to you, or SpiderNoir would have to kick their ass. Your happy when the harassment stops and knew it was because of Ben’s help
• Now if the person doesn’t listen, SpiderNoir takes care of those people for you, which also makes you happy
• When you get hits of body dysmorphia when you two are making love, he’d remind you that you’re handsome and a true man
Sooo... What if you did some fluffy angst with a pro-hero Bakugo (and his hearing problems of course) with a pro-hero reader who has REALLY bad hearing problems but doesn't tell anyone and tries really hard to hide it. Ahhhh. I feel like this is hard to explain but since like, he has hearing problems of whatever he'd pick up on the hints that you're hearing is shit and what not. I hope you get what I'm asking for 😭🙏
Ok so I hope this is what you’re asking for, also I just want to put a disclaimer out there for everybody that I am not somebody who experiences hearing loss so feel free to let me know if anything written is offensive, incorrect, etc.

Being deaf was hard on you, always the target of bullies in school. Pitied by everyone else, talking slow and loud thinking it will help you hear them. Hey dumb fuck, I can’t hear you. You wanted to scream at everybody, then one day through tinder you met Katsuki Bakugou.
Katsuki was the most relatable person you probably ever met. Angry, blunt, hard of hearing, overall an introvert. You swiped left on his profile, you suddenly felt obsessed with him. Quickly you realized he was pro-hero Dynamight.
You and Bakugou talked for what felt like an eternity, an eternity of bliss. Eventually Katsuki asked you out on a date. You met at a cafe, apparently his favorite.
It was pretty easy for you to pass as “normal”, if you focused on his lips and watched their movements you could tell what he was saying. He doesn’t have to know.
What you didn’t know, Katsuki was as obsessed with you as you were him. He felt drawn to you, that how he wound up stalking your social media accounts. Through that stalking, he quickly realized what most dumb men likely wouldn’t, you were deaf. He figured you wanted to tell him on your own, so he pretended he didn’t know better.
Then, you two started dating and suddenly katsuki had to pretend he didn’t know better for months. You slipped up a lot of times and made it obvious but he didn’t care, he loves you.
It started getting hard to pretend he didn’t notice, considering you recently moved in with him. Katsuki concocted a plan in his head to tell you he knew so you could both move forward. You both felt the tension between you.
Sitting down for dinner one day, you and katsuki were both enjoying the meal you had cooked for the two of you. You sat directly across each other at the table. Katsuki made sure to turn his hearing aid on, he had a habit of turning it off.
You went back and forth talking about each other’s days. “-shitty fucking Deku, thinks he’s better than me.” You laughed at your boyfriend’s aggressive behavior.
Bakugou felt relieved at your delight, he took a deep breath and spoke, “look, I wanna talk to you about somethin’ but I don’t want you to get upset.”
You frowned slightly, “hey, it’s ok. Go ahead and say it.”
Katsuki let out a breath, “we’ve been together for months now. I’ve made it clear with you from the beginning about the fact that I need a hearing aid, there ain’t no judgment. That’s why I wanted you to tell me on your own terms, but anyway I know that you’re hard of hearing or deaf or whatever.”
You were stunned. Your big hunk of a boyfriend, the number two pro-hero was rambling. Even more so, he knew your very well kept secret.
You let out a sigh of relief, “I’m deaf. How did you-“
“You lip read. Also I’ve known since we first met,” Katsuki admitted.
You started sobbing and not because you were sad, but because you were glad to have it out in the opening between you two.
You chuckled and signed, I love you.
Katsuki signed back, I love you too.
“You could have told me, dumb ass.” His words were playful with truth behind them.
“I know it’s just-“ Katsuki must have heard how shaky your voice was.
Once more, he cut you off, “hey, you don’t have to talk about it right now. We’ll talk about it another day.”
You couldn’t help but lunge yourself into your boyfriend’s arms. Katsuki securely wrapped you in his arms.
“You’re the only person who has ever understood me,” you admitted into his chest.
“I’d kill for you,” he wasn’t sure why he said, but you both knew it was true.
[ Note: still got no clue if anyone is gonna request anything but feel free! I might take a while to actually write them since I'm pretty busy. ]

“What am I without you?”
“Yourself.”
But who was he? Who was himself? Was he Tommy, Thomas? Tommyinnit? Was he the naive blonde boy, dirt under his nails, eyes bright, a shining ocean waters on a bright sunny day? Was he the boy with band-aids peppering his body, scrapes and scratches a constant reminder of his fearless nature? The one who’d run home at dawn, the skin burning with darkness, kind sage eyes always waiting. A mess of dirt and wanderlust, heart aching to become something, to become free, no burdens no chains. He wanted to help people then, to become someone remembered for centuries, a hero even. Hewas a poet, one who didn’t bring aureate stories through mind altering words, but through actions, a poet in only the way a child can see the world and wonder, a poet in the way only a child’s perspective can bring. Was he the poet?
He wasn’t that boy anymore, that boy was long gone. Lost to reality, lost to false hopes, and a boy who flew too close to the sun.
Was he the boy who’s skin burned with anger, determination his only fuel? Was he the boy who’s voice echoed across both stone and wood paths, damaged buildings and into the ears of war shaken citizens? Was he the boy who stood up when no one else would, who spoke words with less grace than his brother, yet sparked a fire in everyone’s hearts all the same. Was he the boy who fell time and time again, yet picked up his sword once again time and time again, fire burning through the ocean in his eyes. Was he the boy stood up when no one else would, a weapon held in his shaking hands, and fell when no one else would? Ocean eyes filled with crashing waves? Was he the boy who constantly fought? Against enemies and for those who could not? He wanted to be a savior then, to be someone who would be remembered. Was he the soldier? No, that boy was gone.
Lost to the selfishness, the greed of war and the cruel insanity of man.
Was he the shell of a boy? The fractured doll? The dulled blue eyes, that of an ocean centuries old? One that had seen kingdoms rise and fall? Was he the puppet held up by frayed broken strings? One with a puppet master no longer? The hands that once held the strings cold and stiff. The boy who’s mouth smiled, whose voice laughed, whose hands ached to hug someone who he could no longer reach? The boy who’s eyes remained dull, while jokes fell from his mouth, a cheap remedy for pain. The boy lost in the facade of habromania? The boy who was lost to cruel numbness? Who’d lost it all? The only memories of what he once had holes in the ground and a crater? His life lost to dirt and ash. He was a monument to the memories, both good and bad, a monument to the saints and sinners that once filled this unfinished symphony.
Was he the fallen king?
He’d become the hero. Never forgotten.
He’d carried the weight of the world on his shoulders when others could not. For Atlas could not rest his weary bones.
So instead, he fell.
And in the cold silence of a cell, Atlas was left to ponder
And since you gave us a "cliffhanger" in the end, I would like (if that's ok) FLUFF 4 and KISSES 4 too for a scenario or headcanons (withever you want to do) for Werewolf Zuke, and (only if you feel comfortable with it) make it a little spicy.
UGH SAME, WEREWOLF ZUKE HITS DIFF
!!WARNING!! nsfw(themes/steamy events, i’m not comfortable with writing the dirty grr bark bark)
You were bored out of your mind. You swore there was nothing fun to do in the sewers. And your only source of entertainment;scoff… Zuke and Mayday..; were out somewhere. You didn’t know where the hell they would be, because it’s a full moon and usually Zuke stays home on these days. But it must have been urgent, at least you assumed so. You were laying on the couch, and every now and then you would switch positions. Just moments earlier you were sitting like a normal person, now you were upside down, arms sprawled out, and kicking your legs up in the air. At one point, you moved in just the right way, making your back pop. You quickly got bored of sitting like that, so you kicked over and thumped onto the floor. The noise must have woken the beast, as she came crawling over to you. You looked over to Ellie, and just smiled. You didn’t see her a lot, but from your previous encounters you know that she really likes being around you. She laid down next to you, and you ran your hand across her scaly skin. You closed your eyes, and waited for the time to pass.
After what felt like forever you heard footsteps, then a squeal. Your eyes shot open to see Mayday, smiling widely with stars in her eyes. “You guys are so cute!!” You giggled as Ellie scampered over to Mayday, but quickly shot her a response. "Not as cute as you though!" Mayday giggled, and you watched as her cheeks flushed. That was when you noticed Zuke, who was standing just behind the couch. His ears were already starting to change, but he was acting odd. You checked to see the time was about 11:01, you were surprised he hadn't changed more. Eventually you stood up and walked over to Zuke.
"So, where did you guys go??"
He shrugged, "We just wandered around…" his voice was different too. You couldn't tell exactly what, but it was something.
"Did you get any groceries?"
He nodded, and asked if you could help him put them away. You said yes, and followed him. Midway through putting the goods away Zuke interrupted the silence. "So, what has been going on in your life lately?" You shrugged, not really knowing. "Well, there is this guy who works with me. He's funny, has a pretty good sense of fashion, and he smells heavenly. Not in a weird way though, I don't routinely sniff him. He smells like vanilla and strawberries." Zuke seemed to be zoned out. He held completely still until you finished, and he put the cereal into the cabinet. He said something, but you focused on his face. His ears were fully formed now, and when he spoke you could see his sharp canines. A shiver ran down your spine, as your mind flooded with thoughts. Zuke snapped you out of your thoughts when he re-asked you his question.
"Do you like him?"
"Well, of course I like him! He's an amazing friend."
"You sure he's just a friend?" he glared at you, his eyes dark and menacing. "Cause I think it's more than that." You took a sharp breath in, and shook your head.
"Yes, I'm one hundred perce-" you paused, and slowly turned to face him. "I- You're jealous! Aren't you?!" His face flushed as his eyes widened. He started to say no, but you interrupted him. "You sure as hell are!" He scoffed, and looked away from you. You rolled your eyes, and made your way over to him. You cupped his face in your hands, and turned him to face you. "Trust me, Zuke, no one could take me away from you." The next thing you knew, his lips were on yours. It was like you were moving in rhythm, as you backed into the wall. He deepened the kiss hungrily, and made it more intense. Your hands were cupping his face still as his hands creeped down to your waist. He broke the kiss, which in response you let out a small whine to, but he just smirked at you. He kissed your cheek, and slowly started making his way down to your jaw, then to your neck. Just as he pecked your sweet spot, Mayday entered the kitchen (is there a kitchen in the sewers?? Idk if there is, I don't have the game yet. But if there wasn't, there is now.). She let out a shriek, and covered her eyes. "EW EUGH," she imitated a gagging noise, "REALLY GUYS?! IN THE KITCHEN?! GET A ROOM!" You and Zuke just stared, blushing deeply.
You and Owen go on a mission and talk (more or less) about feelings.
Word Count: 3,9K (how the hell did this happen?)
A/N: I did a thing. It’s the first thing I ever post anywhere, so I’m pretty anxious about it. It’s propably crap. And out of character since I changed the things I disliked about his character the most (and he never dates Mel in this). But I worked on it long enough, it’s not getting better 🙃 So anyways, here goes nothing
The ringing of your alarm clock jolted you out of your peaceful sleep. You groaned and squinted at the clock. It was just past 6 in the morning but Isaac had you and Owen assigned for a mission.
Ever since the Salt Lake Crew joined the WLF, you became friends with all of them. You were particularly close with Abby and Manny, spending lots of evenings in their shared apartment, drinking beer and watching movies with them.
You often wished you could have the same connection with Owen, or an even deeper one. You had always liked him. From the moment you saw him walking into the stadium for the first time, you had a bit of a crush on him. At first, you decided to ignore it for the most part and praying that your feelings would go away over time. Back then, he was still in a relationship with Abby and you were happy for them.
When they broke up with each other, you and Manny were there for Abby, while Owen decided to spend most of his free time in his aquarium or taking on more jobs outside the stadium. You knew that it was hard for him, because he still loved her even after they were done, but he respected her decision and didn't try to chase something that wasn't there anymore. And even though you longed to spend time with him and comfort him too, you ignored all your feelings and wishes concerning him.
With passing time, he spent more time with the Salt Lake Crew again and you noticed him getting his optimism for the world around him back, but you still ignored your crush on him. In the end, it was impossible that he liked you back in that way, right? Besides, you still hoped that the feelings for him would go away.
But the more years went by, the more you realized that your crush on Owen wouldn't just go away, in fact, it was getting stronger with every moment you spent with him. That's why in the last few months you decided that the best course of action would be to just ignore him to the best you could and not spend too much time alone with him, always scared that he would find out about your feelings.
No one from the Salt Lake Crew knew about this, and you hoped that it would stay that way. You could live with them trying to set you up with some random WLF-Soldier sometime or another, but you couldn't imagine living trough their teasing if they ever found out.
You sighed and slowly got out of bed, enjoying that so far you hadn't been assigned a new room mate after the last one just vanished and having the space all to your self.
You hurried to get dressed because you couldn't get away with being late for a mission again and you didn't want Owen to get in trouble too, if one of the higher ranking soldiers found out and told Isaac about it. Taking your backpack from it's place on the shelf, you made your way down to the cafeteria to get some breakfast. You just hoped it wouldn't be burritos again.
When you were on the bottom of the stairs, you met Manny. “Good Morning beautiful.” “Good morning Manny. What are you doing up that early?” He clapped you on the back and lead you inside the cafeteria, where a lot of other soldiers were already present.
“I'm going to do a special mission for Isaac with Abby. I heard you and Owen got assigned a mission together too? Well, at least you will stop ignoring him then. Do you have a problem with him? You always seemed to quite like him” You could feel your face grow red. Had you really been that obvious with trying to spend less time with Owen? “I'm not ignoring him. What makes you think that?” Manny chuckled. “It actually was Owen himself. As you know, we watched movies last night and he asked Abby and me if we knew why you have been ignoring him. You know, he seemed really sad about it.”
When you looked at him and saw him trying not to laugh out loud, you knew he was teasing you. You shoved his shoulder playfully. “Ugh, just shut up. I'm not ignoring him and I certainly don't have a problem to spent time with him.” Manny laughed out loud and excused himself to go speak with his father before his mission.
You got in line to get breakfast and got burritos (of course it would be burritos AGAIN) for yourself, Manny, Abby and Owen. When you turned around from the counter, you saw Manny jogging up to you from the other side of the cafeteria. He took his and Abby's Burrito and you made your way to the exit. Even from a distance you could make out Abby, who was talking to someone. Once you and Manny got closer, you saw that it was Owen. You silently groaned.
Of course your companion heard that and chuckled. “I thought you don't have a problem with him.” The two of them hadn't noticed you yet when Manny grabbed your shoulder. You turned to him. “Hey, whatever it is, I'm sure you can talk with him about it. He'd understand for sure.” “I don't think it's that easy, unfortunately.” You smiled at him sadly and turned around to walk the rest of the way to your partner for this mission.
When you were standing next to the pair, they turned to you and both wished you a good morning. You gave Owen his breakfast and bit into the burrito yourself. Abby and Manny went to retrieve their weapons and left you and Owen to yourself.
The silence between you grew more uncomfortable with every passing second until you couldn't take it anymore. “So, did Isaac tell you more about this mission? I only know that we were paired together.” “Yes, he told me. There were several sighting of infected half way to the TV studio. Leah and Jordan are driving up to the studio today, so they will take us along and pick us up again tonight, when they are finished with their business.” “Ok, sounds good.”
You tried to smile at him, but if his expression was anything to go by, you didn't succeed. After Owen finished his burrito, you picked up your weapons and went to the trucks where Leah and Jordan just finished up packing.
You greeted the couple and loaded your stuff on the truck. When everything was put in the right place, you sat down on the bed of the truck. Jordan was driving the truck and after a short moment, Owen joined him in the front, leaving you with Leah.
The truck started and you left the stadium. At first, the drive was enjoyable. You and Leah talked about everything that happened in the last time. But a few minutes before you reached your destination, she grew quiet and seemed to think about what to say to you.
After a moment of silence, she looked at you again and asked quietly, “Is everything okay between you and Owen? The mood seemed really awkward before we were entering the truck. And he chose to sit with Jordan and not with you. He has never done that before.” You sighed and wondered who else knew something was up. “No, there is nothing wrong. I'm sure that's just your imagination.” She looked at you suspiciously, but hadn't time to say anything else, since you reached your destination.
You climbed down from the truck and she gave you your backpack. Smiling at you, she said “May your survival be long.” “May your death be swift.” You shouldered your backpack and waited for Owen to join you.
Once Leah and Jordan were gone, the two of you walked over to the buildings where the infected were rumored to be seen. Owen was oddly silent. Normally, he was very chatty whenever you two would go on patrol or missions together, but today he seemed like there was something on his mind.
You stopped shortly before the buildings, enjoying the sun, who had finally risen over the horizon, before you entered the building after Owen.
On first sight, the building seemed empty. You didn't hear any screeches or movement, wondering if there were really infected. “Do you know how many infected were seen?”, you asked Owen, who was standing with his back to you. You waited several moments, but there was no answer from your partner. You walked over to him and shook his shoulder. “Hello? Anybody there?”
He blinked at you, startled as if he hadn't realize you were standing right in front of him. “Yes, I'm here. Why?” “I asked you if you know how many infected should be here. Because I don't see or hear any.” He shook his head. “No, I don't know. Let's go further in, maybe they just went to hide somewhere.” You looked after him rather stupidly when he suddenly started marching further into the building. You wondered if he really was that upset with you for not spending much time time with him lately or if there was something else bugging him. You jogged after him.
You spent the next three hours wandering through the different buildings, but there were no infected to be seen. Owen was still not very talkative and ignored your presence for most of the time. He only spoke to you if you asked him a question and even when his answers where clipped. You wondered what was wrong with him and if it was possible that you were the reason.
After searching for another hour without finding anything, you decided to take a break. The two of you sat down in the grass before the building, unpacking your lunch. You closed your eyes and enjoyed the sun for a bit. After a few moments you felt eyes on you and when you opened your eyes, you saw Owen watching you intently. He looked away and cleared his throat. After a few more moments of awkward silence, he finally talked to you without being prompted by you.
“Can I ask you something?” He seemed nervous to ask you. “Sure you can, Owen. You can ask me anything, but I thought you knew that.” He looked at you skeptically and continued. “Why are you ignoring me?” You felt all the color drain from your face and swallowed hard. “I don't know what your talking about. I'm not ignoring you.”
He scoffed. “Yeah, sure you're not. You declined all my invitations to spend time with me at the aquarium, we didn't have a movie night with just the two of us in months and you didn't even come to Abby and Manny last night. So, if you have a problem with me, just tell me. Or if you don't like me, just tell me too. But to be ignored by you hurts fucking much. I thought we were friends!”
“I...I don't have a problem with you Owen, and of course we are friends. Nothing has changed, I promise you.” He stared hard at you. “Then tell me why you're ignoring me. I want to know what's wrong.” You swallowed and thought feverishly about what to say until the silence between you grew awkward. “Owen, I can't tell you. It would change everything between us and you would hate me forever. I don't want to loose you because of that.”
He looked away and his expression turned cold. “Well, I'm certain you'll do that even without telling me. Nothing could be so bad that you can't tell me. I thought you knew that. Seems like I was wrong.” He sighed and you stared at the ground, feeling like ice took hold of your whole being and your heart shattered.
“Come on, Y/N, we still have infected to get rid of.” Owen's voice had a cold touch to it when he stood up and turned back to the building, not waiting for you to pack your things and follow him. “Owen, wait. I didn't mean it like that.”, you screamed after him, but he already vanished into the next building you needed to search.
You cursed and hurried to throw your things into your backpack and run after him. Inside the building, it was like he had vanished. You took a look around, seeing that the upper part was completely destroyed with the passing years. That left the lower part of the building for inspection. You turned to the stairs which led downwards, but couldn't even make it halfway there before you stopped short.
For a moment, you feared that the building was collapsing when the floor and the walls started shaking as if an earthquake took hold of it, followed by a loud crash and the screeching of infected. But as soon as the shaking started, it was over again.
When you recovered from your shock, you ran as fast as you could downstairs, coming to a sudden stop when halfway down the stair was covered in rubble. The small pebbles were soon turning into gigantic rocks of concrete, blocking you from going any further. It looked like parts of the walls and ceiling collapsed.
Owen was nowhere to be seen. Was he down here and lying under the rocks? The thought made you feel cold all over again and your heart felt like it was beating out of your chest with anxiety. You tried to calm your erratic beating heart and listened to your environment.
When you held your breath, you imagined you could hear gunfire and infected screeching behind the walls of rock. Imagining that Owen was alone with the infected on the other side, you panicked and tried to move the rocks and screamed out for him. “Owen? Owen! Please answer me. Are you ok?” You listened closely – but even after a few moments were was no answer.
Tears were streaming down your face, while you hopelessly tried to move the rocks. You rubbed with a hand over your eyes when you noticed something shiny on the ground between a few smaller rocks. You grabbed it and when you saw what it was, a fresh wave of tears started to well up in your eyes. It was Owens firefly pendant. You pressed the chain to your heart, and after a few moments put it into the pocket of your trouser. What were you supposed to do now? Behind the collapsed wall, everything was still silent.
Since you couldn't move forward, you decided to go search for another way into the lower part of the building. Maybe Owen was still alive, he was a skilled soldier after all. And if not, - well, you didn't want to think of this possibility. While you hurried up the stairs again and to the front of the building, you thought about your last conversation with Owen. It made you feel sick. You regretted that you didn't told him the truth. Maybe if you told him, he wouldn't have gone alone, maybe.... well, it certainly didn't do any good to dwell on it now.
Back upstairs, you looked around, trying to find anything useful. You spotted something that looked like a floor plan. Better than nothing. You jogged over to it and took a look at it. From what you saw, it looked like the building you were in and the building on the right had a shared basement.
You also noticed that were was another door to the basement in this building, but it was only accessible from the back. You decided to try the door on the back first and if that didn't work you would search in the other building. Looking out of the windows on the back, you realized it was going too far down to just jump. Hurrying out of the building and to the backside, you found the door rather fast.
You first stopped to listen to something, but besides the chirping of the birds, there was absolute silence. Reaching for the door handle, your heart started beating fast again. You pushed the handle down and tried to open the door, but it didn't open. Even giving it a few harder pushes didn't do anything, it was locked. Next, you tried to throw your whole body against the door, but it didn't do much, beside giving you a soar shoulder. “Fuck, oh fuck...” Gasping for air, you realized that you couldn't get to the basement here.
Anxiety was threatening to take over all your senses, but you swallowed it down and hurried to the other building and after a quick search you found the door to the basement. When you pushed down the handle, it was budging at least a bit. “At least it's only blocked and not locked...”, you thought to yourself while you threw your body against the door to create a gap large enough, that you could slip through.
The big metal crate that was behind the door made a sickening screeching noise when you pushed the door open and immediately you heard the screaming of several infected, all making their way to the source of the noise. Luckily, there were no spores to be seen. You ducked behind the metal crate, turned on your lamp and watched as a clicker and a few runners were running in your direction. You took your gun out of your holster and aimed for the clickers head. You needed two shots, but the clicker went down leaving you with the runners.
Startled from the noise, they were coming straight at you. You managed to dodge the first, killing it with a head shot. You barely managed to kill the rest of the runners, leaving you with barely any ammo, hoping that were wouldn't be much more of them.
In this part, the basement was cold and wet and on the floor was a thin layer of water, making every step you take echoing from the walls. You moved slowly, trying to make as few noise as possible, regularly pausing to listen for infected or other movement - but everything was silent. When you reached the end of the first building, all you found was a door, no Owen was to be seen or heard.
Reaching for the door, you could see how much your hand was shaking. Your anxiety was rising with every second you didn't find Owen. Hoping to finally find something, you opened the door, finding it unlocked.
The basement on the other side was drier, but it was dark, the shining of your lamp the only source of light. Carefully, you stepped into the darkness, screaming out loud when you suddenly stepped onto something. You looked down and saw that it was the arm of a dead infected.
Suddenly, you heard a quit voice behind you. “Y/N?!” You whirled around and there, sitting on the floor next to the door, was Owen. You hurried over, falling to your knees next to him, trying to shine your lamp over his body and feeling around for wounds. Your movement was frantic needing to feel his warm (alive) body under your hands.
It was only stopped when hands grabbed your wrists. “Hey, calm down. I'm fine, I promise you. Look at me, please. Everything's ok... are you crying?” That was the first time you realized the tears streaming down your face again. Owen let go of you hands and pulled you into a tight embrace, while you mumbled repeatedly “I'm sorry.” “Don't cry, please. I'm ok. I'm not hurt, not badly at least. Everything's ok. You don't have to apologize”
One of his hands started to stroke your hair, while you sobbed against his chest, clinging to him and never wanting to let him go again. After a few minutes, you calmed down enough to find your voice again. “I'm so sorry Owen. For everything. Especially for ignoring you. I didn't want to, but I didn't know what else to do. I don't want to lose you.” The hand stroking your hair stopped, grabbing your cheek instead and making you look at him. His thumb stroked your cheek while he stared you in the eyes. “Talk to me, please. What I said earlier still stands. Where is nothing that bad that you can't tell me. I promise.”
You tried to find the right words, searching for something eloquent, but your brain and your mouth didn't want to work together at the moment and all you managed was to blurt out “I'm in love with you.” Owens breath hitched, his hand glided away from your cheek and for a few moments afterwards there was complete silence. You looked down in embarrassment, feeling your cheeks heating up. Then, he started chuckling. Your brows creased, wondering what that was about now. “And that's the reason why you have been ignoring me lately?” He sounded amused.
You still couldn't look him in the eyes. “Yes, that was it. I didn't want you to find out and then not wanting to spend time with me anymore.”, you mumbled. Suddenly, you felt his hand under your chin, lifting your head up and making you look at him again. “You can be really obvious sometime, Y/N.” “What?! Why?” On his face spread a broad grin. Because I was trying to flirt with you for the past year. I can see now that that was not very successful.”
You stared at him in disbelief, not trusting your ears to really have heard that he said just that. Owen laughed quietly. Then he was leaning forward, pressing his lips first to your cheek and then to your mouth. It took a moment, but once your shock dissolved you happily kissed him back. For a few moments, there was only him and his lips on yours, you forgetting the world completely.
“Ok, I think we should get out of here, Owen. Leah and Jordan should be back shortly.”, you told him after a few minutes of enjoying his presence near you. “You're right, I want to get out of this basement. But you need to help me. I think the rocks broke my leg.” “But you said you weren't hurt!” You're voice was getting comically high. “I didn't say that I wasn't hurt, I just said that I wasn't hurt badly.” “You're impossible.”, you told him fondly, trying not to laugh.
With you helping him, you both made it out of the basement and sat down on a rock near the spot you would get picked up again. Suddenly you remembered the firefly pendant in your pocket. “Here, you lost that on the stairs.” You held out your hand with the pendant. Owen looked at it for a moment and then back up at you.
“Keep it. So you remember me when we're not together.” You looked at him full of wonder. You knew how important his pendant and his past with the fireflies was for him. “Are you sure? I know it's important for you.” “Not as important as you. Keep it.” He took the pendant from you and put it around your neck. In this moment, you couldn't be any happier.

Rick, Daryl, Michonne and Glenn were out on a supply run to get more medical supplies for Hershel and baby food for Judith, not expecting to bring home any new company. That was until they made it to a store that was basically ransacked, little to no supplies, and a few walkers they ended up killing..
“Michonne, have you found any yet? Even a little bit?” Rick called out quietly as to not attract the attention of any lingering walkers nearby if there were any, continuing his search in his aisle. “No. This place has been swept clean of all the things we need…” She sighed defeated, “I guess we have to find somewhere else.”
Meanwhile Daryl and Glenn were near the back, searching through the pharmacy for anything they needed and anything that seemed useful; stuffing their bags with pills and rubbing alcohol. When Daryl turned the corner, he didn’t expect to see this figure that looked quite beaten up and wearing tattered clothes, cowering in the corner. He immediately could tell they were scared, “Hey I’m not gonna hurt you. It’s okay, you’re safe.” You looked up at this strange man, watching him put his crossbow down and hold his hand out, seeing this other man come walking over to check what was happening out.
“What happened to you? Why are you alone? Do you have anyone?” You shook your head and took the older man’s hand who helped you get up onto your shaking legs, looking down as you were alone. You lost your camp, your family, your friends. Everything and you had to keep running to survive on your own, running out of food and water. You were tired and weak, wishing you would get some luck in this building only to be surrounded by the walkers which forced you to hide into the pharmacy. “N-No, I don’t h-have anyone anymore. I thought I would finally find some food here, but there’s nothing…” That’s when you got dizzy, letting out a small whimper as they caught you. “Alright, you’re really weak, aren’t you? C’mon.”
They brought you out to the front of the store to these two others who looked at you strangely, listening to the two men who found you explain to them. “They seem very weak and in need of some food. We can’t just leave them here to starve and die.” Everything was getting fuzzy, trying to look around to keep yourself grounded and awake; only to fail as you felt your eyes failing you and getting heavier each passing second - before everything went black.
You had no recollection of how you ended up in what looked like a jail cell, hearing people talking right outside which made you look up to see the man with the vest sitting at a table not far from you, fiddling around with his crossbow. “W-Where am I?” Your voice was quite raspy, begging for water which made the man look at you. “You’re safe at the prison with us. Sorry you can’t come into the cells with us, we just don’t really trust you. But we’ll get you some food and water, alright?” He was speaking so softly to you, which surprised you as he didn’t seem the type to be that chill. But then again; you can’t judge a book by it’s cover. You just nodded and leaned your head back, not trying to sit up as you knew you’d just get light headed.
“What’s yer name?” You heard him set his crossbow onto the table with a slight clunk to the metal, “Y/N. Y-Yours?” You took in a sharp breath, waiting for his voice to fill the silent air. “Daryl. You’ve got... a nice name.” His voice had a bit of a nervous tone in it, making you just lightly chuckle which hurt your empty, aching, stomach. “Sound nervous there. Shouldn’t that be me?” The man you now know as Daryl let out a small quiet snicker, watching him softly nod from the corner of your eye.
You both looked over as you heard the loud metal bar down unlock and open, seeing a man dressed as a sheriff come walking in with a small ration of food, carefully bringing it over to you. “Thank you.” You forced yourself to sit up, taking a moment to regain your balance before taking the food and eating it slowly, enjoying the taste of food hit against your tongue for the first time in what seemed to be forever. “Oh, I missed the taste of food.” The sheriff - or what you assumed to be the sheriff - sat down next to Daryl, beginning to ask you a bunch of questions to which you answered truthfully. Telling him what happened with your last group, your name, all the little important basic stuff. While you were talking, you couldn’t help but feel Daryl’s eyes on you, watching you closely, examining you. When you looked over, you noticed how quick he was to look away before he got up and left, making you question if you did something wrong.
Few months later, you happened to join the group, contributing in helping around the prison to make sure everything was in order and safe. Daryl and you happened to become quite close, bonding any moment you could get, with you starting to worry every time he goes out onto a run. You could tell Daryl started acting a bit different around you, looking at you differently than the first few weeks of getting to know him, seeing how he was more open to you than the others which surprised you. You remembered a conversation with Beth on how she thinks Daryl likes you, but you just laughed it off as a joke. I mean - why would he like you? You two had such a big age gap, you were probably not even his type anyways you thought. Those thoughts hurt you as you could feel yourself slowly starting to fall for him. There was just something about him that drew you to him, the way he was just so patient with you as you were to him, sharing stories you would remember of your past. Although he does refuse to say some, but you still knew some he never told anyone before.
“Hey, Y/N. Wanna go huntin’ with me? We need some more food.” Daryl called out for you who was currently busy helping to clean the guns, making you turn towards the man and give him a look as he knew well you weren’t good with a gun - or any weapon at that except a knife. “Are you sure? You know I’m not good at a gun, or bow, or whatever.” All you got in response was a little hum and a nod towards the door, making you roll your eyes and grab your gun that you never really used and followed him out to one of the trucks. You got into the passenger seat as he was insisting on driving, buckling yourself up just in case before you heard the engine start, and the truck started moving.
When you got out of the truck together, you followed him into the woods where he started to look for any tracks or signs of wildlife he could hunt. “Why do you need me to come with you?” You whispered to him not to attract any walkers, or scare away any nearby animals. “Just cause.” He shrugged before he stopped as he noticed a deer, silently pointing towards it to show you. “You see that deer? You’re going to shoot it.” You looked at him immediately quite confused on why he would make you do it. “Why? Why can’t you? I’m going to miss it and then-” You suddenly felt his arms wrap around you and pull you close before he handed you the crossbow, which you took hesitantly. You could feel your heart racing inside your chest at how close he was, how he was pressing his body up against yours ever so gently. What you couldn’t feel - or hear - was his heart beating against his own, him taking in a deep breath before he spoke once more.
“Hold it like this, and you look down here to aim. Keep your arms steady now- just like that. Whenever you’re ready, pull the trigger.” His tone was soft, yet nervous as he showed you how to hold it. You took in a deep breath as you placed your finger onto the trigger, waiting for the right moment before you pulled it with a small. You watched the arrow fly past the deer, scaring it off which made you huff and a soft “fuck!”. “Hey, it’s okay, it happens. Need some more practice, that’s all.” He grabbed the crossbow and went off to pull the arrow out of the tree, you following up behind him. “I can’t do anything. I can’t shoot a gun, a crossbow- I’m useless to the group-” That’s when you felt his hands gently cup your face, looking up at him to see how he looked at you, looking at you like his heart had just broken.”No, no you’re not useless, Y/N. You help a lot around the camp, you… you help me.” You couldn’t believe what you heard- that you help him? But why would that be? “What?”
He let out a soft sigh as he shook his head, leaning in as his lips connected to yours. You couldn’t believe what he just did. You couldn’t register it until the moment he pulled away - seeing you stare at him in so much confusion. “I’m sorry, Y/N. I didn’t mean to make you uncomfortable, but you helped me open up to someone like this. Actually make me feel alive, like a human. You make me happy. Now- I understand if you don’t want to be around me anymore, I mean I did just kiss you and I’m just-“ he was interrupted when you just grabbed him by his vest, connecting your lips once more. He was caught by surprise, his hands moving down to your waist as you two enjoyed sharing this amazing moment that you would definitely not forget. “I like you, Y/N.” “I like you too, Daryl.”
