do u think one of the reasons cas looked so out of it when dean found him (apart from him fighting + escaping his captors) is that he was still so shell-shocked from dean's prayer.. i just feel emo about my sweet cas. he finally getting to hear what he deserved (tho i would LOVE for there to be a follow up face2face where they can have a more productive convo than a one-sided confessional...but ill take what i can get at this point) 1/

and dean finally acknowledging his anger management issues! progress! (i couldn’t help keep thinking during deans prayer that he needs therapy lol thats just me projecting) but i am v happy about the opening of this dialogue i just hope they return to it and develop it more 2/2

oh man… yes i can completely see that. cas probably had the prayer literally hit him out of NOWHERE and he just 100% wasn’t ready for that level of honesty or sincerity from dean. last they talked, they were arguing and butting heads, as usual. so the apology came out of seemingly nowhere.

i agree that dean would get some good out of therapy - that poor boy has layers and layers of trauma, emotional abuse, and pain all wrapped up into that flannel-clad body and he needs a) a hug, b) a cup of tea, and c) a way to talk out his anger.

because people with trauma? we can get pretty angry; just a simmering pot ready to boil over, because life dealt us some pretty awful hands. and unfortunately for dean, it’s just been one big shitty draw from the point his mom started burning on the ceiling. i’d be more shocked if he wasn’t angry about that.

Dean told Sam he saw Amara and Sam wasn’t surprised and he doesn’t blame him for it. And then Dean’s being honest about him and Amara.

It’s moments like this that give me a little bit of hope that maybe the Winchesters are going to develop in a positive direction and not remain stagnant.

OK so i was watching Food Paradise: Pie Paradise and all i could think the whole time was how mUCH DEAN WOULD LOVE THIS SHOW AND HOW MUCH IT WOULD MAKE HIM WANT TO TRAVeL THE COUNTRY TO EAT ALL THESE AMAZING PIES

the moral of this story is i'm irrationally hoping that the sam x ezekiel situation will end up like the yami x yugi situation did on yugioh

with sam FREAKING OUt when he finds out at first and ezekiel just sees himself as doing his job when he's saving sam

but then ezekiel starts to see the nuances of sam's soul, starts feeling real affection for him, and gets CRAZY DEFENSIVE whenever someone tries to hurt sam, and not just because he's his vessel

and they learn to work together and operate together and they see each-other in ways that no one else does or ever can or will

and one time something removes sam's soul from his body and ezekiel feels so goddamn lost without sam's soul next to his, he gets determined to the point of dangerous to get it back

and yeah this is never gonna happen
