I need to go to bed, but I had a thought of the Voltron Team just spending a day at the beach.
Hunk, Shiro, Lance and Allura are playing beach volley ball and having a good time, while Pidge, Coran and Keith are fighting over shade.
“Keith, move over,” Pidge orders, sips on a lemonade and squirms between Coran and Keith, edging Keith off the umbrella shielded blanket and into the sun.
“Get your own shade.” Keith pouts.
“Umm, as Voltron’s resident gingers, Coran and I get the shade. It’s an unwritten rule of the universe.”
“It’s true,” Coran agrees.
“What? No. I’m paler than you two”
Pidge sticks out her leg. Keith sticks out his leg.
Pidge shrugs and chucks the sunscreen at him.
Keith scowls and starts applying sunscreen.
Lance gets a volleyball to the head because he stopped paying attention to the game.
Who the fuck wears a black shirt to the beach? Lance thinks to himself, God, Keith, why so damn emo, all the time?
“Keith, you must be hot. Not as hot as me, obviously, but take off the damn shirt. You’re gonna die of heat.”
“I have fought Galra with my bare hands.”
“Take off the shirt. I got your back.”
Lance does Keith’s back but ends up with too much sunscreen on his hands so he awkwardly wipes the front and then the back of his hands down Keith’s chest.
“WTF, Lance? Why are you so weird?”
“My hands were sticky. You could be grateful, you know.”
Just then Hunk comes flying through the air in pursuit of the ball and bumps into Keith, knocking him into the sand.
Thanks to the sunscreen, the sand sticks to every part of exposed skin.
Keith turns and glares at Pidge.
“Nature’s a b-word.” She looks over her sunglasses, winks and takes another loud sip of her drink.
