Shout out to the subtitle team for the show sons of anarchy, not skipping or censoring anything making the show more accessible.

I know it’s small but it makes media more accessible when the sentence is captioned word for word, even if it swears or says a slur. If it isn’t censored in the show I should be able to know that in the subtitles.

i've noticed an uptick in creators using their own subtitles and adding them onto their videos and it makes me so happy!! the youtube subtitles are not often reliable, and it makes me so happy to see creators adding their own and making their channels more accessible!

I was speaking to a person the other day. It was the first day we met and as we continued to talk he picked up on my negative outlook on life. I wasn't obvious about it but he noticed it. He asked me why I wasn't happy and surprised that he could tell after having just met me I replied "because life is one long painful, meaningless mess." I thought he was going to tell me that I was stupid or looking for attention but instead he simply said "you know the scariest part about that is that you could say it with a smile".
