he had actually been rather surprised when he found someone else from osaka, even better was the fact that ryosuke was also a jock. so, it was no surprised that the two of them had quickly bonded over this fact, and now they found themselves getting lunch together before one of his practices. 

twiddling his chopsticks a little, ky took a quick glance at his watch, kicking his bag a little further under his seat to check he hadn’t actually forgotten it. now that would just be embarrassing, but there it was and he just hoped to hell he had actually remembered to pack his skates so he didn’t just show up without them and have to go back to the dorm because his brain decided to have a meltdown. “will you coming along to practice with me after this?” he asked the elder in their native language, glancing away from his watch and food for a moment, “please.”
