Faith and Amelia live in the mansion at Jessop Conservatory and regularly host get-togethers like BBQs, dinners, movie nights, etc. All three of Faith’s adopted brothers practically live at their house along with Amelia’s brother Sam and his family whenever he’s in Hope County. Jess and Tracey, Amelia and Faith’s respective best friends, never miss a single get-together and the Ryes, despite being their rivals as best BBQ hosts, are also regulars. Other frequent guests include the entire Hope County Sheriff’s Department, Adelaide and her boyfriend Xander, Hurk Jr and Sharky, Grace and her dad, and sometimes even Pastor Jerome will be dragged along by Mary May.
9 times out of 10, Amelia is the first one to wake up so she usually cooks breakfast after a quick workout. If Faith isn’t awake by the time she’s finished, Amelia willl go and wake her girlfriend up with kisses. If she gets up while Amelia’s cooking breakfast, it usually ends with Faith clinging to her back like a koala until her vegan pancakes are on the table. On the very rare occasion that Faith is up before Amelia, she’ll make Amelia’s workout smoothie for her and always leave a heart-shaped piece of fruit on the top that she carefully cut out.
They own 8 cats, all different breeds and all with very distinct personalities. All of them are rescue cats and Faith and Amelia love them dearly. Simon, their Russian Blue, purposefully sits on John’s lap every time he visits because he knows John hates getting fur on his clothes. Persephone, their grey Ragdoll, adores Joseph and will complain until he picks her up and carries her everywhere, like the bossy little princess she is. Surprisingly every time Jacob visits, he ends up covered by every single cat in the house. No one knows why they love Jacob so much but he’s sworn Faith and Amelia to silence when they caught him cooing at their youngest, a Persian kitten named Minerva.
One of Amelia and Faith’s favourite things to do together is paint each other’s nails. Faith likes pastel colours, usually pink or green, while Amelia almost always has hers black with the occasional red thrown in. Faith also likes to help Amelia redye her hair and loves to watch her do her makeup which always ends with Faith staring at her girlfriend with the biggest heart eyes while Amelia tries to hide how much she’s blushing.
Another of their favourite things to do together is sing. Both Faith and Amelia have beautiful singing voices and the two of them will sing while doing housework or while wandering the gardens of the conservatory. Faith especially likes it when Amelia sings to her while they’re watching the stars together and Amelia loves Faith singing to her when she’s having trouble sleeping.
