@kityri-imera here is that other chaos of a page I was talking about! You’ve seen most of this, except for my insane attempt of Idea-ifying K-9. At least I had a good laugh. 🤣
@vampresa & I every thursday night;;
I can understand why people have mixed emotions about Ava “moving on” with Bayla besides just wanting Ava for themselves.
On the one hand Ava should go out and make herself happy; that’s very common sense.
On the other hand it’s interesting that the female LI who really didn’t even come out to her supposed long time best friend crush OR find out if said friend was into her until AFTER she’d already hooked up with Bayla is the one to move on while the guys are happy to just chill in her orbit until the MC figures out who she wants.
Because you could look at it like “well Ava is putting herself first which is good” OR you could look at it like “see Ava’s feelings aren’t that strong if she can just immediately hop into a relationship with someone else”. It really depends on how you want to view the added Ava stuff. It really has shades of Ava/Mason to be honest, and I honestly don’t see it ending well for Bayla. I mean it could but WHERE is the drama in that? Mason and Ava imploded, Ava cut the MC out of her life for weeks while Mason merrily started to pursue the MC. Bayla seems cool but...I wouldn’t have inserted myself into this for all the chocolate in the world. Also I know some people won’t care if she talks shit about the MC but others will so if they go that route with her, yikes.
Either her and Ava end well OR they’re going to have her be jealous that Ava is still obviously into the MC. Since the spoilers are apparently true we know Ava is going to be upset over the locked in the gym thing and if that doesn’t affect her relationship with Bayla then MTFL isn’t the messy mess I know it is. Then you have the “what if the MC needs Ava and she drops everything to help her, which angers Bayla?” OR the “what if the MC needs Ava and she DOESN’T drop everything to help her, which would make some already inclined dislike Ava?” (Knowing they’d 100% have the guys drop everything for the MC, let’s be real here) It sort of seems like they are setting Ava up to be hated on almost--it really reminds me of some of the choices they took with Mason before mellowing him out and it’s meh.
Not having Ava and the MC have an actual conversation about their feelings was a bad idea. They’re talking like they did but they didn’t. Perhaps it’s the weird time jumps without actual naming of time but it feels like the MC just decided to maybe, sorta be into girls in her mind and then Ava telepathically knew this and sniped for her to “figure it out”. Then five minutes later Ava is kissing someone else (apparently over it) and the MC is like ‘oh well, hey guys let’s chill’.
I sort of feel the way about bisexual MC as I do about the police brutality stuff. If you’re not going to do it RIGHT then just don’t do it at all because half assed never works. They should have just made Mason/Noah gender customizable yet kept the triangle stuff. Then the bisexual awakening could have still happened yet it would have flowed a lot better.
I find it telling that no one has come to Letitia defense and her deleting social media just adds to it. Not a good look
Oh yeah. No one wants to touch this crazy with a ten foot stick. Don Cheadle was the closest we got, and even he condemned it once he realized what all the ruckus was about.
