James has never wanted to settle down – or maybe he’s never wanted to settle.
I think this might be the best James/Teddy pairing I’ve ever read? The two of them as grown men with everything finally falling into place so they can be together? James’ inner monologue about how much he loves Teddy and is happy that it’s happening when they’re old and can really know themselves and each other? The way that their love for each other is never in question or relegated to 2nd place just because for most of their lives it’s been a platonic love? It’s just fucking lovely.
