now it's up to you to write about song talk hozier with alex turner truly
That’s so Alex, isn’t it?! (Although I’m so obsessed with him that I can easily fit him into any idea in my head.) Imagining Alex in the song and the Greek myth is so perfect, both literally and in the song itself. The idea of what it must be like to build intimacy and communication in a romantic relationship with him and to see him frustrated when he can’t make himself understood or anxious just thinking he might have hurt you with poorly chosen words (and for you, the fact that he cares about this already means a lot). And I must add, thinking of him in a purely fantastical realm, where he would physically and emotionally save you, in a literal sense of going to the underworld (with the visual and sensory perception that you were suffering; I let my imagination go wild, imagining if he were a demigod) fighting for you and saving you, only to end up losing you completely along the way and having to deal with the consequences of being almost enough but not quite making it; I mean you're not there with him anymore—although this is because of how much he loves you, such anecdotes wouldn’t be so clear to him (bonus points for a sense of memory loss when feeling worried about the possibility of forgetting your face 👀🤏). But yes, the song is perfect!!
A++ media commentary in random YouTube video
They are playing Hamilton music at my dentist office and I’m getting sucked back into the fandom-
