Like of course there are plenty of fandoms that have people obsessing over it but the sheer of people in the bsd fandom that are like that is fascinating honestly

There are millions of fans who make their specific fandom their whole personality but in other fandoms they're considered super fans but in the bsd fandom theyre normal and you're the weird one when you casually enjoy it because i seriously never met a casual enjoyer in the bsd fandom, one of my friend read some of the manga and she enjoys it but she's not in the fandom ifykwim

I've watched demon slayer 2 times and read the manga 1.5 times watching all the spin-offs, watched jjk 1.5 times and finished the manga and yet the moment i watched bsd it was the moment that i fell in love and i only watched the anime one time still needing to read most of the light novels picking up the manga from season 5 watching bsd wan all one time and yet i fell in love with it way more than demon slayer or jjk possibly could i watched apothecary diaries obsessed over for a few weeks but bsd was still in my mind the whole time

Also the amount of content the bsd fandom pumps out is insane wdym that bsd officially reached 100k fics on ao3 and plenty of writers wrote like 50 bsd fics like how you do that and also making fanart of the new chapters immediately as they come out

This phenomenon should seriously be studied or i will study it myself and write a 50 page doc about this in psychology class for when(if) i go to college
