ok its late and im still on this. osomatsu san’s ESP Kitty episode was so out of place in tone but still REALLY well written besides that it was half made as a joke about Kara being the family punching bag.
but THIS. STILL HITS HARD, MAN.
But it REALLY was less about the cat in the end and more a really downplayed bit of character development from Jyushi, right after a huge character study moment for Ichi. Jyushi just wanted to help Ichi find friends or at least come out of his shell, but ends up forcing him into situations that make him uncomfortable and driving him away.
The cat can’t say anything on it’s own, it just says what’s on a nearby person’s mind. And all it says here is “I’m sorry”
and YEAH this show has no continuity whatsoever but. I really do think Jyushi managed to take this one lesson to heart.
