"Slow down, Sunshine. You're not falling behind and you are loved for more than what you do for others."
if i knew our time together had an expiration date
if i knew our time together had an expiration date—
a phrase i’d say to turn it belly up,
i would have been so much more careful.
i would have tiptoed across broken glass
for another day of your love.
if the words had never left my mouth,
my fingers had never danced across my screen frantically,
i could have known the heaven you built for me
in your arms once more.
but this too will pass.
i’ll miss you for my life, it seems,
but i’ll never be upset at you.
i know why you left,
and i understand.
i just wish you had stayed.
what everybody realized how evil i was on the inside what if my friends and teachers were disappointed in me what if they realized how greedy and petty and selfish i am what if they already suspect it what if they already know it
“But 6 7 doesn’t make seeeeense!!!” WHO CARES
while our gens don’t quite have a phrase that is as nonsensical, i assure you a good chunk of our media was considered as such (for lack of a better example ren & st/impy)
If you’re concerned abt what kids are consuming just say that
If you just want kids to shut up admit you’re an impatient pos and say that!!
Or chill out lol
The motorcycling community has the phrase "meat crayon" for anyone who crashes without armour and sort of draws themselves down the street.
In my experience, you roll too much to produce a consistent line, but I like the phrase and the unlikely image it evokes.
Anyway, I'm trying to buy clothes again and the experience feels like being the imaginary meat crayon. Like I am being held hard and fast to an abrasive surface.
