So Makoto is helping s/o studying for a test, but none of the studying methods are working and they can barely get above fifty on the practice tests. That's when she decides to try a reward different from chocolate. She says that if they can get above a sixty on the next practice test, they will get a kiss from her. s/o does the test and gets an a hundred and even gets one on the real test. Could we please get headcanons for how Makoto reacts to/deals with all this?

makoto knows her methods are bound to flop, from the very beginning.
chocolate is relatively common, and something you eat regularly is hardly a motivation to do a task you don't want to do, let alone a reward.
she can't really blame her s/o for having the attention span of a firefly when they don't want to study a subject either, she knows that not understanding something can lead to frustration, then avoidance altogether, hence the low grades
she knows it affects you, though. if you have studied hard, she can see how frustrated you are, your eyes practically screaming 'what did i go through all that suffering for'. if you didn't study, she can see the way you slouch as you shrug as if saying it was inevitable, but you can't exactly hide the frown etched onto your lips.
she's extremely patient when teaching you things. tries different methods of explanation depending on what method you take to better, visuals, demonstrations, or just plain reading.
this leads you to warm up to study the subject a bit more since you're facing no judgment from your girlfriend, only encouragement and support. you know she wants you to be the very best you can be, which motivates you to try a bit harder, just to honor her efforts
she lowkey doesn't want to separate from you in college, so if her dream college is known for your dream field as well, she would be over the moon if you applied there together.
chipping through mountains of units isn't exactly what you would call pleasant, but the sense of accomplishment you get after is exhilarating
even more so when makoto compliments you on how well you've done, planting a kiss on your lips for good measure.
