Luke had a habit of just finding kitchens where ever he went. For a paranoid person it wasn’t too out of the ordinary. He’d studied, among other things cooking, sticking mostly to baking because sweets were what life was worth living for. He did however keep in touch with his former teachers while he went about studying other things and building up his company.
He always had a soft spot when it came to helping people get on their feet being the sentimental person he was. So it was never a surprise to anyone who had to attend a company function that it was in fact catered by the students and faculty of the school he’d attended.
The lobby had been designed in such a way that parties could easily be held in the space and it would make sense. It also gave Luke an easy escape to his car, the street or his office to hide from people id that be the case. Today’s function had him a bit on edge however which meant he was already pacing the floor and obsessing over the angles of the trays as they were being set down. Something he wasn’t supposed to be touching at all.
“Sorry, didn’t mean to bump you.” He apologized, knocking elbows with someone as he adjusted a tray by ten degrees to line it up with the rest on the table.
