today's impromptu bit: a student was sitting in the middle row with a lax stick casually behind his head (like, his arms around it leaning back) and i was like hey that's not a good idea and the kids started to argue with me that he should get to keep it and i said everyone is just paying attention to the lacrosse stick so it's mine now and i used it as a pointer for my powerpoint slide
