The goal of this account is to spread seizure awareness, education, ableism/discrimination of them.

Please feel free to send in asks regarding your experience with seizures and they will be responded to.

This account does take inspiration from those such as @this-is-ableism @thisisparamisia @this-is-audism and all the others that are out there.

Seizures can occur for many different reasons and this account does not discriminate on the reasoning

Actually the reason I made that post talking about how harsh ppl are to it. Friend told me it was gone & I get the sense these people being SOOOO fucking aggressive over the smallest things probably led to that decision. I’m just… real pissed on its behalf cuz I check its blog very frequently & the amount of ppl who think they have the right to be so fucking bitchy to this tired disabled person with, AGAIN I SHOULD MENTION, HUNDREDS OF ASKS IN THE QUEUE AND INBOX CONSTANTLY, over posting one or two iffy asks is just… insane. These people are expecting fucking flawlessness from this blog and it’s EXTREMELY rude & honestly cancel culture mentality

I’ve run quite a few blogs, both group & alone, that have gotten popular & even just my main (of the time) at one point had over 500 asks in the queue… so I am VERY aware of how overwhelming it is and just the sheer amount of posts. I could never keep up with them but this-is-ableism has shown it can and has been willing to - something I could NEVER handle - and I highly admire it for that. And I think in exchange for it handling such a large amount of blog activity and asks, it means that things can and WILL slip through occasionally. KINDLY pointing out when something shitty gets through is the way to go, because, you know, its a person (or maybe non-person being) just like all of us who deserves understanding, instead of FUCKING HARASSING AND CANCELING IT FOR SLIPPING UP A FEW TIMES. Absolutely insane

This was originally sent to @this-is-transandrophobia but i really want to keep anything related to discourse away from there.

I am aware, and yeah that's ironic as hell and sucks ass, but I still recommend it as a blog for the same reason I dont have an "endos dni" which is that I really dont care. It seems to have a similar opinion aboit me bc it hasnt removed this-is-transandrophobia from its pinned, which i really appreciate. Its also posted a few asks that frankly aren't ableism, but hey ive also made mistakes like that and I cant fault it for that. Ultimately I think it does a lot of good for the community at large and I appreciate it as a disabled man.

For the record I completely understand why someone would want to avoid it for that reason, in the same way its understandable why someone would block me for being anti endo. Curate your online experience!!!! Block freely!!!

I think this-is-ableism keeps getting a bunch of very unfair fucking hate. It’s shown time and time and time again it’s tired and busy and gets hundreds of asks. ANY bit of minor slip up keeps getting it yelled at and called horrible and told to unfollow instead of thinking “hey, maybe its tired and busy and happened to miss this ask not being great” and the way ppl treat it like horrible for any little thing is REALLY pissing me off

Practically harassing it for tagging autism as a mental illness? (Which was just a tag it used for all mental disorder related posts!!) Reblogging to multiple popular blogs saying to unfollow it for some slip ups of a few shitty asks amongst HUNDREDS of them? Come the fuck on. That blog is awesome and you’re all treating it like shit for the smallest fucking things. Do better
