well all this stalkery stuff was before we had a talk on thursday night (after the club). I basically said 'you are following me around and it's kind of creepy' and he said 'I didn't do it on purpose. I just think you are fun to hang around with but I wouldn't stalk you deliberately' and I said 'it may not have been deliberate but it still happened, so stop it.' and also I told him that since I know he likes me and I don't reciprocate, it would be hard for him to get over me if we are spending loads of time together, so back off a bit and get some space.
I said it more politely than that, but that's the gist of it.
anyway, since then, he has stopped following me and we only hang out when we are with the rest of the group, so it's better now!!
I do feel kind of bad, since everything is going wrong for him at the moment and he's got some family and health troubles going on, but also I think it was worth saying something asap, before it escalated, so I don't regret it at all.
