How old are you?: 24
Current job/ Dream job?: I’m not exactly sure. I’d like to do a mix of art and computer programming. Enough to let me have a little hobby farm in the countryside or a place outside the city.
What are you skilled at?: Drawing, making it up as I go along, “mechanical” things. I have a technical mind, I think but I’m also pretty lazy so I don’t really do anything with it. I’m also good at cooking and baking and design. I’m probably good at other things but I can’t think of it.
What is a big goal you are working towards (or have already achieved)?: I want to be self-sufficient. However one goal is a road trip across country, from one end of Canada to the other. Or a trip to the Rockies for a week of horseback riding.
I really want to learn how to ride horses.. I already sort of know but not nearly enough.
What is your aesthetics?: Chill gay, minimalistic, layers and loose clothing. Tall boots. Autumn, I guess?
Do you collect anything?: I collect coins from other countries and keychain animals from my travels. Also rocks and stones I like. I have too many...
What is a topic you are always up to talk about?: Science (particularly biology, anthropology, evolutionary science, and cosmology), my OCs, discussing various media in depth (in particular the Expanse series, or whatever book series my family read collectively). I love discussing books and how we interpreted it.
I’ve never felt boxed in, or that my opinion is invalidated with my family.
(actually I have a really good memory with my dad. They were out on the porch one summer night drinking and chatting and I came out to sit with them and we got on the subject of books we were reading. I was reading the first in a series that he recommended. I mentioned where I was up to and he got so excited he just cupped my face and giggled like “oooooooh I’m so excited for you bc it’s an amazing blah blah blah” and it has just stuck with me).
What’s a pet peeve of yours?: When people don’t allow a give and take in a discussion.
Or when people call me pet names without asking.
Good advice to give?: Take chances and have adventures, but don’t be afraid to take a break and a deep breath. When you make your decision with a clear mind, stand by that decision and don’t worry about it. Just... chill a bit.
Recommend three songs?:
Bloodbuzz Ohio - The National Oats in the Water - Ben Howard Run - Delta Rae
I love these tunes. But to pick only three out of all of them? Hard choice..

thisdeadaccount replied to your post: They say a good friend will bail you out of jail...
me
Let’s make a pact
that if either of us end up in jail and the other one posts a photo to Facebook going “LOL NICE ONE”
the one in jail won’t get mad
"Allow God to exit through your cervix" is literally the plot of at least two Silent Hill games
that’s not surprising because christian symbolism is just one long horror movie
Think of potatoes. Boiled almost dry. No salt or butter. They're just sitting there on your plate. You've got a fork, and you stab it in. The potato just... crumbles. A little bit sticks to the end and you put it in your mouth. It tastes like paper. Hot, dry paper, sucking the moisture out of your mouth. (Are you crying yet?)
that was horrible. atrocious. unfortunately, it made me laugh, so i’d say you failed spectacularly.
Solas is sitting in the corner thinking about what he’s done.
