That’s true character development. I think it would be great if authors paid attention to the example set by Utena, but like, the character,

Yeah, okay, they're talking ponies that include some flying ones, some unicorns, and magic, but the thing that always trips me up is that everything is named after ponies and horses.

We'd think a place called Peopleville was pretty weird. We don't call our country Humanica. We don't get the attention of an assembled group by saying, "Hey, everyperson!" Come on, MLP!
