Winter Storm Diego... . Was going to post another wordy multi-image post, about Winter Storm Diego with pics of gloomy, empty streets, radar showing the extent of the storm and that I’m right in the middle, and comments about 9” snow out the western edge of the storm in Lubbock contrasting warm temps/gusty winds here. I had the post ready to finish when I got back to my van, replete with short vids of plants and trees blowing wild and images of my b’fast and hot sauces as I hid out at The Galley in Morgan City. I got back to the van and took a photo to show how wet I am. I am soaked, dripping, jeans stiff with rain. . This portrait kind of says all of what I had ready to post, at least to me. I can see it in my eyes and expression. So this is all I’m going to post. . ======= Shows too, how much you can do with a good cell cam, understanding and your settings, and what to adjust where. . I taught studio, off-camera, and remote-flash lighting for years, and am having an absolute blast now just using what’s in my pocket, playing with both natural and at-hand light sources. . I’m working up a couple different workshops on effective cell phone photography. Things you can do with what you always have in your pocket and close at hand. #photoworkshops . . #thisisallyouget #selfportrait #iphoneography #selfie #igshotz #blackandwhite #blancetnoir #bnw #nomadlife #vanlife #morgancity #lifeontheroad #iphoneskillz #iphoneworkshop #photographyworkshop #liveauthentic #vagabonding #myoutdoors #escapethecity #cellphonephotography #workshopleader #gearreview #portraits #discovertheroad #overland #adventurer #explorer #expedition #wheretonow (at Morgan City, Louisiana) https://www.instagram.com/p/BrIvCQUhHbO/?utm_source=ig_tumblr_share&igshid=1byhrshipxuvr
