Only 12 days left to sign up for Music Theory lessons! Today, I thought I’d share my high school introduction to music theory final project - the absolute Doctor Who dork that I was in 2014. I think it was around the time when Matt Smith was leaving and Peter Capaldi was slated to be the next doctor. And I was in love with the theme “This is Gallifrey” and decided to arrange it for flute, cello and piano😅 I originally notated all of this on NoteFlight, but the file I submitted the assignment is compatible with MuseScore (which I currently use). I think the midi instruments may have been slightly worse back then as my disclaimer “these electronic instruments sound like poo” but they’re not much better on MuseScore😂 The final product was 12 pages and 72 measures.
