WOW. WOW. WOW. WOW. Meet Dan (on the right). He is a high-ranking commander of an elite commando unit. Yinon, one of Dan’s soldiers, was critically injured during a battle against Hamas terrorists in Khan Yunis. Yinon fought for his life in the intensive care unit for five months - most of that time in a coma. Thank God and thanks to fantastic medical treatment, Yinon survived. Rivka was one of the nurses who cared for Yinon during those five months. She played an important role in saving his life. Dan came to visit Yinon whenever he could. That led him to meet Rivka. Dan and Rivka dated. Dan and Rivka got engaged. And, this past week Dan and Rivka got married! Mazal tov. And who left rehab to join them at their wedding? None other than Yinon, whose injury is the reason why Dan and Rivka met. May God bless Dan and Rivka with a long and happy life together. And may God bless Yinon with a complete recovery and a long, healthy, and happy life.

THIS. IS. ISRAEL. Meet “Dalet.” He is an IDF reservist who can be seen in 2004, holding is newborn nephew. That nephew has grown up and is now known as “Gimmel” - an IDF combat soldier. They are now serving together in the same unit, uncle and nephew, as Israel seeks to destroy Hamas. Israel has always been surrounded by enemies seeking to destroy us. So, we fight. Because we have no choice. From generation to generation. May God bless Uncle “Dalet” and nephew “Gimmel” with safety and success in their mission.
THIS. IS. ISRAEL. Meet “Mem.” He is an officer in IDF reserves. “Mem” was injured while fighting Hezbollah terrorists in Lebanon with his commando unit. He was medevaced to an Israeli hospital. Thank God “Mem” survived. But he didn’t only survive. He went through a challenging recovery and rehab, and now… …has returned to reserve duty! This week, his unit presented him with an award (see the inset) which included a piece of the Hezbollah drone that led to his injury. May God bless “Mem” with safety and success in his service, and with a long life filled with good health and happiness.
