it's breaking my heart. i feel like it would be easier to let go if it sucked but honestly i kinda love it.

It started out pretty rough imo.

But the last couple of episodes have been solid.

Maybe if we’re lucky they’ll at least be given enough episodes to have a satisfying conclusion.

yes, watch the knick. i was pleasantly surprised. shows like this tend to have their black character be nothing more than a prop so i was VERY pleased with andre's character. there r some plot lines that they cant fucking avoid because i dont think there r enough writers of color in the room to stop it (ESPECIALLY with the orientalism), but overall the knick is pretty legit.

i read an article about cinematic tv the other day and they mentioned the knick. that was my first time hearing about it and then today with that andre pic. i’ll definitely check it out. it’s in its first season?

re containment: i saw the pilot at SDCC and it was actually REALLY good. i think it was somewhere on my top 3 favorite pilots that i saw.

YES THAT’S GREAT TO HEAR :DDD I’ve been looking forward to the show ever since I saw the trailer. Also I think the guy who directed the pilot is called the pilot whisperer so it has to be good lol

i was there and i every now and then i slip back in to it. i used to do late not blogging to for that exact reason, lol. but u kno crawling inside myself for a bit and reconciling a few things were troubling but i got through it and u will too.

You’re a peach, honestly. Thank you for the kind words. It’s definitely something that I’ve been trying to work through. The past few months have been super, super hard. And I kind of just needed to take a moment to say that I’m not okay before getting to a point where I’m REALLY not okay. Sometimes I try and ignore things that are wrong but that’s not really good. So I acknowledge things aren’t good, and I try and fix it as best I can.

ahhhhhhh, but the shade is so lovely! i might just splurge on it... have to worn colourpop before? how do u like their products?

I have a lot of ColourPop because I am weak and cannot say no to their low price point and their free after $30 shipping anywhere in the US.

Their produces are fairly consistent. I’ve encountered a few disappointing eyeshadows and a couple of less than stellar lipsticks. But overall, they’re pretty quality.

I WANTED TO KNO WHAT THAT COLOR WAS OMG! so yeah thnx! lol

“Dahlia” is my ‘‘i’m poor” version. The actual lipstick she uses is MAC’s “Diva”. But lol this isn’t a color I would rock in everyday life and I can’t justify spending $16 on a lipstick just because Black Canary uses  it.
