About last night:) ❤️🎶❤️ Jump-ins are one of my absolute favorite things to do in the world! I was asked on Sunday before our awesome revival of Vivaldi at the @volksoper if I could jump into the final sold-out performance of Le nozze di Figaro at Landestheater Linz (in Italian) the next day (We sing it in German at the Volksoper). Fortunately, the Italian came back quickly during our one rehearsal on Monday morning before the performance ;) It was a great show that went off without a hitch! Even the costumes and wigs fit perfectly:) ❤️ I’m extremely grateful that it went so well! The only way a jump-in of such a big role on short notice can be successful is with the cooperation of well-prepared, talented and helpful colleagues. What an amazing team of singers, coaches, assistant directors, musicians and administrative and technical staff they have at @landestheaterlinz ! It was a great experience to make my house debut in such a fantastic (and gorgeous) opera house! Special thanks to @adamkim.bariton for being such a wonderful and helpful Figaro and to @markus.poschner for conducting the @brucknerorchesterlinz so beautifully and sensitively! A friend of a friend was in the audience last night, and reportedly they said, „Sie kam, sie sang, sie siegte! Großer Applaus“ (She came, she sang, she triumphed!
