Thesis: The shrine appropriates the legacy of the Al Malaikah Temple
Topic Sentence: Shrine Owes the Temple a space to show ‘respect’
Ex: The shrine now brings in thousands of people during every event and owes the Mystics a chance to expand because they were the original inhabitants more than once a year
Analysis: There are way more events at the shrine compared to the one event the original inhabitants have.
Purpose: introduce the reader to the argument
Topic sentence: current structure doesn’t support the Malaikah
Ex:
What is now a stage and seat lights cameras
Security at every door
Must have pass/ticket to get in
The Malaika used the shrine for nurturing youth back to health but the structure of today doesn't support that
Purpose: explaining the architecture and how it functions that help support my thesis
