Not sure where home is but I feel like I remember you said something about western Canada or something. Iunno. I think there's a few science jobs in Seattle and the surrounding area, if you could get a work visa or however that works.
Yeah I live in BC, western Canada. Home was Vancouver but I've moved back home with my parents on Vancouver Island.
Its almost not even worth applying for US jobs when you have my level of skills/education. It is worth it if you possess skills or expertise that by and large the US population is lacking. Otherwise I'm literally just a foreigner stealing US jobs (there are lots of chemical technicians in the US). Plus the legality and paperwork is a hassle. I have done my research on this.
However if through a connection a US company wanted to hire me I'd still go with it, but I'm not actively pursuing US employment for the reasons above.
I'm finding lots of canadian jobs I'm qualified for so hopefully something sticks. :)
