So proud of this kid. He is so compassionate and mature for a 15 year old boy... had a very grown up, serious discussion today about me accessing the hospice here in Swansea, and some of the reasons why. Tom was very perceptive, and understood that local GPs and hospitals tend to panic when asked to treat me. He also understands that should I reach the point of needing end of life care, I’d prefer to be in Swansea. His exact words were; “Cardiff is your home, but Swansea is your family’s home”... and he says it’s be a lot easier to visit me here in Swansea. I’m so lucky to call this kid my cousin and my best friend ❤️ he is my hero 🦸♂️ and I adore him beyond words.
