#TBT to Sunday's game of D&D&D: Dungeons and Dragons and Dinosaurs! 🎲🐉🐲🦖🦕 Thanks @druidwithadino for running this incredibly fun one shot for us!💗 . Did I mention that I like to get into character (at least a little) with accessories and makeup for D&D? In this case I was playing a Protector Aasimar Druid named Midori Mako. She likes helping people! Also had to pull out the little Tree Star hair pins (simply used as pin-like accessories) for this adventure that I knew would lead to dinosaurs! Nail wraps (that I forgot to show off that day) are "This Land" from @espionagebeauty. Eyeshadow is the Espionage Cosmetics x Shiro Cosmetics team up palette with a bit of "Double Kill" (old everything shadow from Espionage) for liner. Did I also make a flower crown/halo the night before the game just because? Yes, yes I did.😇🌸👑 Oh, and you can't see it, but I'm also wearing my "What doesn't kill you gives you XP" shirt by @unicornempire . The two pics with dinosaurs (instead of cookies) in them are pulled from my friend, and fellow player, Rusty's FB page since I somehow failed to take any pics with dinosaurs. Note: the triceratops in the bottom right photo is actually my character in her Wild Shape. I was role-playing a Saber tooth Tiger, but since we didn't have a mini for that, I got to be represented on the map as a Triceratops! ☺ . . . #ThrowbackThursday #DnD #oneshot #dinosaurs #CasualCosplay #Druid #ThisLand #NailWraps #EspionageCosmetics #NerdManicure #NerdMakeup #DungeonsAndDragons https://www.instagram.com/p/B9Fk7a-hs7X/?igshid=1w29d67tfmrse
Despite the devastation caused by the recent wildfires in the Great Smoky Mountains National Park, life will return to the forests and flourish with tenacity in the coming seasons.

366! Three hundred and sixty six! Wow, that was quite the project! I realize I’m off schedule by a few days due to some personal time last year, but I’m glad I kept with it. I hope you all enjoyed the daily posts and that I was able to keep it interesting, along with some quality imagery!
For my final image of this 366 project, I’d like to share with you one of my favorite views in the United States. From the Green River overlook in Canyonlands National Park, one can stand at the brim of a nearly vertical thousand foot drop looking out at the distant mountains, plateaus, and buttes, carved out by millions of years of river erosion. I find this place extraordinarily serene and peaceful to sit and study the shapes of the landscape below. Time seems to stretch out in a place like this, you can feel it in the air.
Thank you for taking the time to like, comment and share my photography throughout the past year! I’m going to take a week off from posting to social media just to recollect my thoughts. I still have plenty more to share in 2017 and I have some exciting announcements planned for the year ahead. See you all in a few days!

Character can be defined by the layers that have built up, but also by what remains when they wash away.
Day 314/366

Those who walk the valley of Yosemite will find themselves encircled by towering granite walls that will leave their mind in awe. Cathedrals of stone are carved by nature, though much envied by worldly religions to replicate in grandeur. Some may find a certain inner peace, enlightenment or spiritual awareness while tilting their head skyward. The church of nature welcomes all who seek quiet contemplation, renewal of spirit, or a respite from the monotony of life.
Day 326/366

The moments pass and the memories will live on. I hope the best for Gatlinburg, TN and a rapid recovery from the recent wildfires.
